I've been needing a second key for my Charger since purchasing it. Got it used and dealer wanted to charge $399 to supply a second key. I passed on that offer. I saw this for twenty something dollars and said I'd try it. Key FOB arrived the next day and I was able to program it with AlphaOBD on the first attempt. Locks/unlocks doors, starts car, and rolls windows down. Very inexpensive for what it provides, peace of mind in case of a lost FOBIK!

I have used this key fob since I bought the car 4 years ago. It's easy to change the battery. It was programmed it within 10 minutes. Seems durable and I still use it today. Great product. Replaced the original fob nicely.

Bad news up front: As other reviews have mentioned, the panic button does not work (at least for the two fobs I purchased) HOWEVER: Personally, I absolutely love this because I would always accidentally set the alarm off. For me, this is 5/5 but some purchasers may really want the feature so I gave it 4/5. Everything else works perfectly well and is a great discount compared to OEM. Also, go to an automotive locksmith instead of a dealership for programming. Way nicer, easier, and quicker. Programming and spare key cut for both fobs in 15 minutes with no appointment.

Great purchase!!! I saved $116 by taking new key fob with me instead of purchasing it from locksmith.

Took it to get programmed, no problem. Last me two days before it popped up saying no key detected. Took it back had them reprogram it again, all good. Another couple days go by without driving it and boom. Can’t read it. Mind you it will still lock and unlock my car, pop trunk just won’t run it.

UPDATE: Feb 2025 Just bought a 2nd one to replace the 2nd FOB for my 2012 Charger R/T that has a broken button. Switched out controller and it works perfectly! Put original physical key in this new FOB and stored blank key just in case. Only difference is it doesn’t have “Dodge” on the back but who cares? Saved $100’s+! 2023: Just swap out the circuit boards and removable physical key. Voila! Dealership wants $300-$400 to replace broken FOB. Buy this generic one and swap the board/key in 5 mins. Save $100’s!! Best $ I spent in long time. I was putting it off forever because I was dreading haggling with dealer or getting software from locksmith. Someone mentioned this method so I tried it. So glad I did. Brand new key FOB for my 2012 Charger RT for $30!

Just Switch the circuit and you are good to go! Plug & Play.
