how many gallons of water will it hold?

water from mop thru wringer pours back into wash side. No water goes to "dry" side. What's wrong?

Hi dear customer, That's right. The DRY part needs to be empty so as to dry better, the squeezed water on the mop would flow into WASH side, that's how it works. Some customers somehow think that makes dirty water into clean water, which is actually a misunderstanding. Cause normally there isn't "clean“ water. Before mopping you have to wet the mop with clean water in WASH part at first, after mopping normally the mop turns to be dirty and then needs to go to the WASH part again to be rinsed. So after rinsing the water in the WASH is not "clean" anymore. The DRY part is only for you to squeeze extra water after washing the wet mop. Overall, when it is a clean mop the clean water flows from DRY slot into the clean WASH reservoir, contrarily when the mop is used or dirty, it will be the dirty water flowing into dirty water. is there a spout to empty water from bottom?
