Beauty and the Beast: Belle's Library: A collection of literary quotes and inspirational musings (Disney Beauty and the Beast)

I feel as if this book gives you another glimpse into the mind of Belle. She uses literary quotes to talk about Gaston, her father, the Beast, even each of the castle members, and Philippe. The art work is beautiful and is made to look as if Belle drew it in. The quotes might be harder for younger readers as they do come from Shakespeare and earlier era of writing, but the summary by Belle about the text does a nice job describing what that quote stands for or talks about. A lovely little addition to anyone's library, and perfect even for adults. The back also gives you a bit of a reading guide and explains why each classic book was picked and why Belle would have liked it.

I got this for a secret gift giving that I'm participating in with my company. The person I'm gifting to loves reading AND beauty and the beast so I thought this would be perfect. It is! I just got it in the mail today and I was curious of the quotes inside so I started reading a few. I've read the first 55 pages! It's such a cute idea, I feel like I'm reading Belle's diary!

I had the original idea that this book would only have a few favorite quotes and then get into some kind of tell all about Belle. I was wrong but I must say I'm still very happy with what it is. It really does show Belle's personality when you read her favorite quotes from stories and then she tells you how she feels about it. It's probably not a favorite for everyone but if you are really interested in Belle or want recommendations on older books to read, I'd high suggest buying this book.

I love books, so naturally a book about books is on top of my to-read list. This was such a fun book. It is filled with quotes from classic literature as well as commentary from Belle. I actually hadn't heard of quite a few of these books. Some of these quotes were incredibly insightful. I also really loved how cute this book is in person. It even has a ribbon bookmark!

It’s a beautifully designed book with whimsical illustrations and thoughtful reflections that capture Belle’s love for reading and adventure. Definitely something that would make a perfect gift, especially for book lovers who enjoy a little Disney magic in their collection!

I bought this for my son's girlfriend along with the Beauty Handbag for her birthday. This book has such a rich look to it and the writings are exactly what you would think Belle would contemplate and write about. Very, very well done. Anyone who loves Beauty and the Beast will enjoy reading this look into Belle's heart and soul.

I'm such a fan of Brittany Rubiano. She always writes from this perfect place of passion, love, strength, and genuine creativity! As a grown woman (yes, I'm a grown a** woman who still buys Disney books for herself), this book was such a treat! I was an English major in college and am still, of course, such a lover of literature!!! So to have this book, inspired by a Disney princess who brought me such joy as a child, full of "old" quotes that brought me joy and meaning as a teen and adult, as well as "new" quotes that made me stop and think now, is beyond special. -- It bridges that gap between my younger Disney princess self and me today and I LOVE it! Also, for young ones, this book is a perfect way to introduce them to famous literary quotes, while also teaching lessons of love, friendship, respect, and more. I seriously can't say enough ahhhhmazing things about this book!

This book is amazing! With an old feel cover, delicate water mark splodges from Belle's drawings on the pages, a pretty silk bookmark and a foreword by 'Linda Woolverton' (who has worked on beauty and the beast, the lion king etc) it's magical before you even begin the literary quotes. Each page has a quote from plays/books that Belle would like along with an annotation and comment from her. These including comments about Chip, Papa and her time at the castle... I'd recommend this book to anyone who loves Beauty & The Beast and reading!

Beauty and the beat is one of my all time favorite movies and when a friend got a copy as a gift naturally I needed to get my hands on a copy as well of course. If you or someone that you know is a fan of the movie, get them this book. It's a beautiful, hardcover collectors item. The artwork inside is very striking as well.
