Beer Brewing Equipment, Stainless Steel Spigot,1/2 in Elbow Barb

This was originally a 1 star rating. The first one I got was pure junk - impossible to assemble with provided parts. The collar nut (outside) binds horribly on the inside pipe thread bulkhead making it impossible to tighten to the wall of the pail. It is not cross threaded. But it is easy to see that the threads are being knocked down by the nut because of improper machining. Hard to believe the seller would ship something like this. Should have realized it was a problem when I couldn't thread it on more that a 1/2 turn by hand. UPDATE: The replacement is excellent and is working as expected.

Bought this for maple syrup making. I like the valve, and the seals. Was easy to install and looks like it will work well.

Added this to a 4 gallon stainless pot to bottle maple syrup, so far it works good. I was concerned about how easy this would open but it worked great! I only got distracted one time and opened when i meant to close it... I spilt syrup all over the floor, luckily was wearing a glove and didnt burn my hand!

I used this to attach to a pot to boil down maple syrup. I used it a few weeks ago to bottle my syrup and made the job very easy. It is built well and durable.
