Love the look, easy to build in - great value!
I was shopping around for quite some time to find the right case to replace my previous one. I build my PC back in 2011 and upgraded most pieces over the years but still had my old case which I've grown very tired of. The p400s gave me the clean look I wanted to have. The case has a great matte look, I really like the black/white color scheme and the build quality is nice with no sharp edges. A great tempered glass and RGB implementation under $100! The case fans that came with it are decent although I added another intake fan (Noctua 140mm) to get positive pressure as the case has quite a few holes (back slots, etc) and I wanted to make sure I wasn't sucking in dust. The fans are very quiet and the case as a whole keeps mostly silent. The built-in dust filters are doing their job and I have to clean them almost once a month in my office, but while cleaning I noticed almost no dust buildup on the inside peripherals. The underside really allows for great wire pathing letting you hide all those messy cables from your power supply (I hope you are using a fully modular one to reduce cables!), drives, fans, rbg extension cables. I will say that my system feels a big small inside the case. I have no need for the capability to add more drives on the visible side so there is plenty of empty space. In the future, I'll probably add a second 140mm fan to replace the 120 that comes with the case. I prefer to have 2x140mm instead of 3x120mm for sound purposes. I don't think you can go wrong with this case! Great features, easy to build, good quality and reasonable price with a full size glass window!

Great Case with Few Compromises
This case is amazing. What I liked: 1. There is a ton of room to work in this case. With no drive cages or DVD bays, you are left with an empty and clean space to work with. 2. The cable management was a snap. There are plenty of cable routing points and a nice space to tie down cables in the back. The SSD and HDD trays are in the back and help with the cable routing. The PSU shroud enhances the look and gives you a good place to hide excess cables. 3. The two built in fans are pretty quiet and the fan control is nice with 3 speeds to let you adjust to your need at the time. 4. There are filters at every entry point for air cutting down on dust significantly. 5. This case is quiet compared to the other (budget) cases I've built in. It has sound dampening material on the back and the top and the glass is thick and helps lessen the sound as well. You can hear the fans when run at top speed but it doesn't sound like a train going through your house. When i put my headphones on i can't hear any sound even with the fans on high and my graphics card fans running. 6. The airflow (after buying a third fan) was great. My GTX1060 never gets above 65C and my I7 6700 never gets above 54C. 7. Totally subjective but the included RGB strip was a nice plus. The strip is magnetic and mounts easily in the case and the lighting control lets you change the color or effect in a snap. What I didn’t like: 1. Being totally nitpicky. I would have liked one more fan included because I had to buy one to get what I felt like was enough air flow. 2. There isn’t enough room for a radiator at the top. I don’t use one so it was no problem for me but someone might hit that wall if they don’t notice the clearance issue. Very happy customer and I would recommend this to anyone not wanting to spend a fortune but not wanting to compromise much on features.

The Quality for the Price is Outstanding
THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE P400S TEMPERED GLASS EDITION This case is absolutely fantastic. Coming from a budget Corsair case, this thing oozes quality. PROS: -Tempered glass. It's like I have a fish tank on my desk. -An included LED strip to show off your hardware through that awesome glass. -SATA powered fan controller through the front IO -This thing is QUIET. Even with all my case fans maxed out (2 140mms and 1 120mm, plus CPU fan) I can barely hear it. -Cable management was super easy with the shroud and the velcro straps to hold things down. The back goes on easily if you manage your cables a little bit. THINGS PHANTEKS CAN IMPROVE ON: -The biggest thing, I think, is the front IO placement. The buttons are all under the tip lip of the case, and is surprisingly difficult to press if the case is on your desk (as it should be since you want to show off your gear). Maybe some better audible feedback to know the button was pressed? or just have it on top? Also, I think the headphone jacks should be on the other side of the case, since the case will probably be standing to the right of the user. -I think the case could have been made a bit narrower by removing those expansion slots for extra drive bays. I mean, do most people really need 2 ssd, and 6 HDD? Just seems like wasted space -Small thing, but I thought the bottom LED was a little brighter. From the way it looked in pictures it lit up the phanteks logo. Not so much. FINAL THOUGHTS: Awesome case! The quality for the price is unbeatable! 10/10 would Phanteks again. Oh and I emailed phanteks about their stock fans these cases come with, this is their reply: -------------------------------------------------------------------- We apologize for the delay but we had to request that information from our factory. 1) 23.5 dB-A 2) 50.6 CFM 3) 1.257 mm H2O 4) 1300 +/- 10% RPM PhanteksUSA Support ---------------------------------------------- Honestly, not too bad for a stock fan!

All-around great case, one stand-out issue
This case has everything you'd look for in a mid-tower. Plenty of working room, spacious interior without any cages in the way, shroud that covers the PSU and your HDDs, back panel mounting for SSDs, sound-dampening padding on the interior panels, plenty of fan mounting brackets, premium tempered glass side panel, tool-less breakdown and reassembly, very tasteful RGB and accessible front I/O ports. My one issue with it is that the front panel is one solid piece of metal. There are vents at the top and bottom with filters, but a closed off front panel is extremely restrictive to airflow. Of course, this front panel looks GREAT. This whole case looks great. Luckily the sound-absorbing panels also help a little to dampen the sound of your GPU and CPU coolers turning into jet engines when under load. Another minor issue: The gap for cables that's between the motherboard tray and power supply shroud is just barely too small to fit a 6 or 8 pin VGA power cable through it. I tried multiple ways to fit stock cables through from an EVGA and Corsair PSU and then tried to get my AsiaHorse mod cables to fit and they were all too big. So, you have to route your GPU power cables through the grommet for your motherboard cables. Not really an "issue", just a minor gripe for cable management if you prefer your GPU cable coming through from under your GPU. If you run watercooling, just mount your radiator on top. For aircooling, pick up a couple extra fans to pull air down from the top and you should be good to go. There is a newer version of this case that includes a mesh front panel too, which solves the glaring issue in this one. So, maybe pick up that one instead, but if you prefer to look of the full metal front panel here you can still make it work and it's a 9/10 case otherwise.

Best tempered glass case under $100
This is by far, the BEST mid-tower case I've owned. And here's why: PROS: + Feature-rich yet inexpensive + Tempered Glass side panel for $89?! Duuuude... + Can house even an EATX motherboard + Excellent Cable Management + Magnetic dust filters + Panels are lined with sound-dampening material (with the right case fans, this can be a super quiet rig) + Can change LED colors (up to 10)... and they're not too bright, not too dim. Just perfect + Comes with an LED strip! (Not many case makers do this) + Enough room for a push-pull configuration on the front (if you choose to go AIO water cooler) + The back is spacious, and yet no space is wasted. You can utilize it by putting extra SSDs if you choose to + Has a PSU and HDD Bay shroud to hide those ugly cables + Simple, clean-looking, minimalistic design + Did I mention it was only $89? lol CONS: (not really cons -- more like, nit-picking) - Top area too tight and can't do push-pull config for those of you who prefer your rad on top; Not a problem for me since I prefer to mount my rad on the front. - Grill (top area) of front panel can be a turn-off for some people (I'm one of them lol) - The case is a fingerprint magnet (but nothing that a clean rag can't remove) OTHER THOUGHTS: I had a hard time choosing between this case or getting the NZXT S340 Elite, or the IN WIN 303 (and other tempered glass cases out there. There are about 4 in total including this case I'm reviewing, in this price range) but in the end this one won my vote. Mainly because of the extra features the case offers (like that LED strip) This is a near-perfect case for me. I think for its price, this case has more feature(s) than what its competition can give. I had a great time building my new PC using the Phanteks P400S Tempered Glass, and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a feature-rich case who's tight on budget. ^_^

The Phanteks Eclipse is a steal at $100 (or less)
I love this case. Everything about it is just clean and sleek. I also love how easy it is to snap the front of the case off and remove dust from the screen filters. After nearly 4 months I don't think I have a spec of dust inside my computer. With my last case it would have been filled with dust. It's also crazy quiet. Now don't get me wrong. Noise from a case doesn't really bother me. In fact I was a bit worried this one would be too quiet, and I wouldn't be able to sleep without the ambient noise of the fans (thankfully that wasn't the case). Of course the biggest thing when I was looking for cases was the tempered glass side panel. Now I accidently ordered the white accented one (the power supply cage is white), but because I was in a rush to get the case I didn't cancel the order. In hindsight I think the white nicely reflects the RGB lighting in ways the all black, or even red accent one wouldn't. My brother has the Enthoo Evolv case, and honestly I just like mine better. I have 4 issues with his case in contrast to mine. First is the right side panel is tempered glass. You would have to have some crazy cable management skills in order to want to show off what is behind the motherboard tray. It's fairly straight forward to cable manage the front to near perfection - I'm not so sure about the back though. Second I don't like the curves on the front panel of the Enthoo Evolv - Now this is entirely subjective, and despite the curves I would still describe both case designs as "clean". Third it just feels like the Enthoo Evolv has a lot of empty space. I like that the Eclipse doesn't feel as big inside. Now if you want to water cool, or do some other things you might need that extra room. And of course finally the price. Don't get me wrong, the Enthoo Evolve is worth just shy of $200, but for less then $100 the Eclipse is a steal. If I could change something about the case, I probably would add an additional USB 3 port on the front, but I only use one as it is, so that's just nit picky.

Fricking awesome! Just buy it.
So, I originally purchased the NZXT S340 Elite, this is a wonderful case to look at, very minimalistic, I installed everything and had a very low groaning noise coming from the case, i narrowed the noise to the top case fan, I tried several different fans and different size fans, but I could not get rid if the noise, it was driving me nuts, I had no other option other than to return the NZXT and go with what I thought was the 2nd best mid tower case. I installed everything into the Phanteks case (P400s Tempered Glass Edition) and everything went smoothly, turned the PC on set the fan curves with the MSI software, and this thing is so quite, its unbelievable. The cable management is on par with the NZXT, I actually prefer the grommets rather than the bar thingy in the NZXT for feeding cables through the case. I had 1 slight issue with this case, the motherboard side panel was a pain to get off, and even worse to get back on, i initially couldn't figure out what the problem was then noticed the bottom center slider on the panel was bent downwards, I straightened it back up and slid on nice and easy, there are lots of plusses with this case over the NZXT. 1. Front mounted fan control (3 speeds) 2. Integrated RGB, with an included RGB strip. 3. As simple as it sounds, a re-set switch. 4. Tinted glass side panel. 5. 2 top fan mounts. 6. Included 2 fan dust filters. 7. Included 2 fan covers if not using top fans. 8. Sliders tp position the rear fan, rather than a fixed point. One thing I did not like, there was no cut out on the bottom PSU to pass the GPU cable through on the front side, I disliked this so much I took out my dremmel and cut one in, cable management looks very much better. Don't get me wrong, if I did not have had the weird noise from the NZXT case I would have kept it, it's a great mid tower case, just wasn't for me, now did I say I thought ths was the 2nd best case after the NZXT Elite? Boy was I wrong, this case is fantastic, quieter than the NZXT, aesthetically as nice as the NZXT, more intregated features, more accessories. Buy it you will love this case. One last thing, I will miss my puck :-(.

What an amazing Case! As my first build - in a ...
What an amazing Case! As my first build - in a proper case and no generic one - the experience is top notch. Cable management is so easy thanks to the big clearence behind the motherboard tray, between PSU and Drive cage and velcro straps. The final result is satisfactory and pretty thanks to the clean design and the RGB strip. Since the first time that I turn on the PC I can not even imagine a build without one RGB strip and this case includes one! I was worried about the CPU clearance. As you may know, Phanteks state that is 160mm, and I have a Coolermaster V6 GT (165mm) :S... After a lot research in the internet, decieded to buy it... And for my surprise It FITS! The Tempered glass sits without any kind of force. There is only 1mm of clearence between the cooler and TG panel, so if you have an air cooler with a height up to 165mm you will be fine, though I will recommend up to 164mm just to be safe ;) There are some small defects on this case but these do not affect my perspective and the case functionality: The imposibilitty to slide the drive cage in case of 360mm radiators; no proper offset in the top fan mounting and the lack of some "material" to avoid light bleeding between Tempered Glass and the case, but lets being honest, those are very nit picking and can be easily fixed (with some modifications) except the fan mounting on top So I recommend this case? Of course! Look at those 5 Stars

Amazing and sleek looking case with more than enough space ...
Amazing and sleek looking case with more than enough space to handle a high powered gaming setup. Cable management is simple with all the perfect cut outs within the case. Easily removable glass panel which also looks juicyyyyy. Only negative is that you could potentially have problems installing a radiator at the top of the case. Otherwise perfect case for my setup.

Best case I've ever owned
This is hands down the nicest case I've ever owned. With all of the cables and drives mounted on the right side behind the mobo, and the fact that this case doesn't come with the front filled with drive bays (but available separately) makes this the cleanest in terms of looks and cabling, and as a result, has the best airflow I've seen.
