These work amazingly well.
I love using hydrocolloid bandages, and after a recent surgery I needed some for my incision that are 2"x4" and I couldn't find them locally, so I bought these in the 4"x4" size. I cut them in half and rounded all the corners with regular scissors (rounding them helps them not come up at the corner) to get the size I needed. I've seen reviews that say they don't stick, but I've not experienced that at all. I've used three of them now, and each lasted for a whole week before I removed it (and it wasn't even coming off after a week, it was just due to be changed). You need to do two things to get them to stick well. First, YOU HAVE TO WARM UP THE BANDAGE before applying -- put it in a pocket (close to your skin) or sit on it or hold it between your hands to get it fully warmed up. Then while it's warming up, you can prepare the wound area. Wash and rinse the area well, and if possible also clean around the wound (not the wound itself) with rubbing alcohol -- this will remove any moisturizing agents that the soap might have left on your skin. When applying the bandage, peel off just one half of the backing and position the bandage over the wound without touching the adhesive area. When you have it in place, peel off the rest of the backing and press the bandage down as you go, making sure you don't have any bubbles of air. Then hold your hand over the bandage for a few more seconds, letting the heat from your hand activate the adhesive. One thing you cannot do with this type of bandage is use ointments or creams -- that will cause it to not stick. I'm a nurse who works in a hospital, so I get very hot and sweaty during my 12-hour shifts, and these bandages still stay on for a whole week. If you're looking for something thick to cushion an area to prevent pressure ulcers / bed sores, this is the thinner version of a hydrocolloid dressing. It's comparable to the THIN version of DuoDERM, not the normal DuoDERM. It would still be a great dressing for a pressure ulcer to heal up, as long as the source of the pressure has been removed already. But if the area in question is still subject to pressure, you'll be better off with the full-thickness version that can also offer cushioning, not this thinner version that is more for just healing.

No scar from burn
Amazing. I’ve used these for multiple concerns. Most impressive burns. I have burned myself several times curling my hair (got a new curler to avoid that but….) but the worst was on the side of my face by my eye brow. Probably about it half an inch width and an inch long. I kept a patch (cut into smaller pieces) on at all times for about two months and there is NO scar, NO outline, NOTHING. I just burned my stomach pulling out a tray from the oven (okay am I clumsy??) ~2.5in long. I will be keeping a bandage on until it heals as well. I also use for occasional pimples but find pimple patches work better. These work better for skin discoloration, bumps, etc. but have not removed existing scars only fresh ones. I do have a keloid scar which has softened after using a patch. If you’re like me and need something on hand for a moments notice, order these!

The bandage does not need to be removed once placed. It allows the skin to be protected and gives it a longer time to heal without any damage or pain to the skin by constantly changing it. The healing time is reduced by using this method.

Well designed product
Suffering from an Ultravenous leg ulcer, so i ordered it to see if it would help keep ulcer moist to heal and protect the wound. I like the fact that i could shower with it on unlike wrapping it in Unna boot and adhesive bandages. Helped alleviate a little soreness around the opening but it did cause the wound to open a little further on my second dressing as of last night so trying to be patient. I’ll add another review if indeed it does help speed up the healing process

Superb adhesive, stays stuck on you and absorbs very well!
I've a sever open wound on my outer ankle and these bandages/dressings apply easily, stay put without peeling around their edges and are VERY absorbent! I wear them 6-7 days straight and they've never peeled off and haven't leaked through and I've a wound that exudes greatly. I wish I would have known of these sooner! And their price for a name brand is the best!

Excellent product
Class: this dressing is perfect for decubiti in bed bound patient. Put one on as SOON as a pinked-up area is noticed....in a couple days it won't be pink any more. If u have top layer missing and have an Open wound, it's called a Stage 2 ulcer. Clean wound w wound spray, or soap and water, rinse, dry. Apply the dressing. Change every 5 days, Unless wound us draining, then change as needed. I'm treating a 50 cent sized opening in my patient's knee....it's about the size of a nickel....IN TWO WEEKS! 😲 And it's clean as a whistle. This is a great product ! 👋🏻👵🏻

Too thin
I usually get a different brand from Walmart but got these as I was already ordering other stuff. These bandages are too thin for my application. I have a pressure sore near my panty line on my thigh so I’m sitting on it all the time. I have limited mobility so I’m Always sitting or laying. This bandage stretched, rolled up, left so much sticky gunk everywhere that was hard to get off my skin. All this together caused my pressure sore to become worse. This thin light bandage might be good for wounds that won’t have to stand up to pressure like sitting.

GET THEEEEMMMMM!
Alright, so these can replace the pricey pimple patches, plus, as a double lung transplant, wound care (cause you know we all start running into things post). You can cut them to whatever shape you want (personally I did my whole face, then my chin and t-zone multiple times) and you get waaayyy more product for your money this way than precut patches. I also used some pieces on some deeper cuts (I have rabbits and cats); left them on for 2-3 days and kept them from getting infected at all, plus stayed in really well and definitely sped up healing.
