My 2 yr old is super skinny in waist. Are these smaller in waist than other brands or more standard?

The waist is a nice wise banded elastic but I would say they are not a slim fit and more standard in size.

Will these in 24 month size, be good for my 2 year old?

If they are wearing 24 months or 2 T they should be fine.
