Oral-B Glide Deep Clean Dental Floss, Cool Mint, Value 6 Pack (40m Each)

I think this is the best floss I have ever used. It's not too thin, so my gums don't cut and bleed. It is coated with a mint flavoring which makes it cool and refreshing. It is truly worth the price and I usually buy it in packs! If I pull on it too hard (in the crevices of my teeth) it might fray a bit but it gets the job done efficiently. I have had quite a bit of dental issues and tried a lot of floss brands (including the white packaging of Oral-B) but this one is undoubtedly the best for its price.

This is now an atrocious product. I have been a loyal customer of Oral B Glide Pro-Health Deep Clean dental floss (the gray container) for Years. It was the BEST product on the market - it made flossing not painful. And it was effective. I had this product on Amazon subscribe and save for years. Recently, my shipment no longer had “Pro-Health” on the label - it was just called Deep Clean. And there was a apparently a very small notation in a corner of the cardboard packaging that the product was “new - micro-textured.” At the same time, at a dental appointment, I had THE most painful flossing experience. My dentist explained that Oral-B had recently changed their formulation to remove the teflon coating. And the dentist office was receiving numerous complaints from patients about this reformulated and changed product. The dentist office is switching products. My biggest problem is with the company — that they apparently never widely or transparently communicated this change to their product, so customers could make an informed choice. Even if there was a valid reason for the change, it should have been communicated clearly. It feels like a bait and switch — because this change may have been a technical improvement from the company perspective — but it was NOT a customer improvement. If it was “new” enough to change the coating, which is what made the Pro-Health product great, and if it was “new” enough that they had to change the name - by dropping “Pro-Health,” then it should have been classified as a discontinued product with a new alternative product. And it seems like this change was not communicated to Amazon…. Because subscribe and save orders for Pro-Health just started being fulfilled with the new Deep Clean product. That’s not right, and that’s not what I paid for. This new product is painful to use. Save your money and frustration and don’t order this product.

This floss is the strongest floss my teeth have ever tried to shred. Really mostly with other variations I end up using more and more floss to get all my teeth flossed because the floss keeps breaking. NOT with THIS floss. It stands up to an entire mouth of flossing in one go! I also think it removes plaque better because a week of using it twice daily showed me that my teeth were less sensitive and cleaner for the experience. The mint flavor is mild and the floss itself comfortable to use. I'm a fan! I'll use up other floss I have but keep getting this in the future! Leaving my first Amazon review ever because people are in these reviews acting like the new version of this product isn’t horrendous. This new version is SO painful to use because it is very sharp on the edges and doesn’t easily glide into your teeth like the last version which so many of us loved (been using it for YEARS and only recently started buying from Amazon for the cheaper bulk packs). It also shred way easier. If you’re flossing properly you shouldn’t be literally digging into your gum line but with the amount of effort I have to put into even getting the new product in between teeth it’s inevitable that it launches the sharp edge into the gum. I have been using these easy glide products for years because they have been the only thing to get in between my tight teeth easily and effectively but now the new product literally isn’t that much different from regular floss. I want to also address another review that says that they removed a “Teflon coating” from the floss which it does feel like a layer is missing now. If this is true I am also horrified that Teflon was used in the product even if it was technically safe but if that’s the case then why remove it? I truly hope they can find some happy medium between the Teflon and what we have now. I’m currently on vacation and thank god I found an old version of the product in my toiletries bag and it doesn’t make my gums bleed

Best floss. My teeth seem to be like razors and usually break any floss right away. This is a strong material! It is flat too. That helps

Awesome floss. I was buying it at Costco. They no longer carry it. I highly recommend this floss. Especially for tight teeth, other flosses shred. I thought I would never come across it again. But after my frustration with other product. Had to search for it and here it was. Good day all.

I've been using this floss for decades and consider it first-rate. The first two dispensers I took out this pack would not dispense the floss. I ended up having to open them up and try to fix the problem, but I couldn't make it work. I had to take the floss out of the dispenser and unravel it by hand, using scissors to cut it. I would have returned the whole bunch, but had them in my possession for a good while before I tried to use them, thus missing the return-by date.

Like others, I've been using this product for years, after they discontinued the indestructible tape version. While the original glide floss was not a great as the tape, it was still very durable and wouldn't easily shred or break. I've been reordering from this very same listing for years, but my recent order (6-pack) of Oral-B Glide floss is completely different. First, it comes packaged in paper boxes now, probably for environmental reasons, which is fine by me. The labeling also looks different now as well, like a rebranding (see comparison photos) or an entirely different product. Worst of all, the product itself is nothing at all like my previous order. It's so thin that it's practically transparent, with about the thickness of a produce bag. It's about as durable as a produce bag as well, breaking and shredding until I had a pile of wrecked floss in my lap and all sorts of fibers stuck between my teeth. This floss, if you can even call it that, is also impossible to pull from the dispenser. I had to open the plastic dispenser and peel it off the roll like I was using scotch tape. It's a shame that I didn't inspect this order earlier when it was still within the return window. This is going into the garbage. Buyer beware!

My hygienist recommended these to me. They are a great improvement on the thin cheese cutters which damaged my gums.

They recently switched to lower quality floss that splits easily and is already sold for fraction of the price from same brand.

Comme ce fil dentaire glisse aisément sans jamais faire mal aux gencives, on peut vraiment bien nettoyer l'espaces rikiki entre les dents et sous le rebord des gencives, là où la brosse ne peut atteindre. De plus, le très léger goût de menthe laisse une impression de fraicheur et de propreté. C'est ce fil que j'utilise aux US et je suis super contente d'enfin le trouver sur Amazon France. 😁
