Love these spoons. They the perfect size for soup and cereal. I prefer them over the ceramic kind because they don't fall into the bowl. I also like that they plastic so they don't break when dropped, as I am a clutter and always dropping stuff.

Your basic asian style soup spoon. We eat pho all the time and these are thr kinds of spoon we need. Typically pho is served at bear boiling temps (to cook the rare beef) so the spoons need to be cool enough to sip from. Metal spoons will burn the lips and tongue at these temps. So it's important to have the right kind of spoon for the right dish. These are not to be used like regular western style spoons where the entire spoon is put in the mouth. I've had these spoons for about a year and a half, they're great. I like them because they're not metal and doesn't get too overwhelmingly hot when eating soup. Only bad thing is that after a while they do start to stain and the stain will not come out no matter what I've tried, but that's to be expected with utensils made of this material.

Perfect for Asian style or any broth soups. Sturdy and easy to clean.

Honestly there's not much to be said here. They're extremely cost-effective, pretty solid quality for plastic spoons, have a great design to help keep the spoon from falling into or out of bowls and are easy to clean. There's nothing extremely special about them but no notable issues with them either. They're just simple, plain, well-made plastic soup spoons that do their job. What more can you ask for?

I received these spoons yesterday and just had to give them a spin and here is my opinion. The actual volume capacity of the spoon well is quite large so you don't have to spend a half hour eating a bowl of soup and would be perfect for chili's and lentil's as well. They don't heat up like a metal spoon which is a good thing and because of their flat bottom design you can set the spoon back into the bowl relying on the hook on the tip of the handle to prevent the spoon from sliding "underwater" or conversely you can turn the spoon over and engage the reverse hook. Both methods work perfectly. The other thing I found was that they can be used to hold diced onions, garlic, capers, etc. that you intend to use during meal preparation. In my case, I was making mayonnaise and needed to hold a single large egg yolk and the spoon worked perfectly. Heck, if they don't stain they might be useful as paint wells for small touch up jobs. The handles are a bit short for a man like me with large hands but still very manageable. If you suffer from hand neuropathy these spoons would probably serve you well. I highly recommend them particularly at this price point.
