Way better than I expected. Saw this on the Old Car Alley podcast on YouTube.He used it for some chrome pieces on his car. I’m going to use it for the armrest bases on my car. I tried it on a small chrome part with a chip and you can’t tell where the chip was! Pretty amazing!

I use this through an airbrush, remember it is not very durable especially at first. It does have to cure up! This is an INK, not a paint. Do not rub your fingers across it at all or it will dull. LET IT CURE,AS LONG AS YOU CAN! There are many videos on YouTube of how to use this product follow them very closely For my use I will have to add a CLEAR COAT at a later time before I can use my part on my project. I know IT WILL DULL some, but this is the closest thing to chrome plating that you will find! For at home use.

This stuff is awesome for restoring vintage dash panels. I air brush it on for a uniform finish but can refill their pens for a good result

I have bought three different spray paints and a singular different paint for a my airbrush but they all left a dull silver color but this gave me the closest to the color i wanted. Its easy to use. A couple of drops in an airbrush is enough to cover the part that i painted. It only really needs just one generous coat that covers the area you want paint for it to have the desired outcome. But let it dry for a full day or two so it dries perfectly or else you will distort the coat of paint. I haven't put a top coat on it afraid it might change the color but it looks nice without it. for best results make sure both the surface you want to paint and the airbrush you use are both clean.

I LOVE this stuff! This will now be my go to metallic! Definitely chrome/mirror liquid! You can literally see your reflection in it! It’s absolutely beautiful how it floats on top of the ink & disperses into little galaxies when you keep it moving until it sets up. Not a sandy-like texture like mixatives. It’s pricey, but a tiny bit goes a long way! (I kinda over did it on my first use. 😬

In my near decade battle to find something to paint high gloss metal on aircraft I THINK I may have a winner. This stuff when thinned with Tamiya thinner goes on smooth and after 48 hours is dry enough to accept (sometimes) a clear coat (more on this later). The shine is just unbelieveable and will knock your socks off. That is until you try to touch it or put on a clear coat. In my testing its hit or miss if the paint will accept a clear coat. Airbrushing the clear coat has failed everytime with every clear coat I have tried. Brushing or dipping is the only way that has worked. Future and a product called "spaz stix" are the only two I have been able to make work. And even then again its hit or miss, on an F-104 about 80% did fine with the other 20% being ruined beyond repair. My latest test with brushing or dipping has been good so far. I am building an old Monogram Devastator and using future dipping. Results have been ok, with only some of the parts randomly dulling the paint.

this works great for doing chrome bumpers on models/slot cars.
