I couldn’t leave my cockerpoo dog home alone for even an hour without nonstop howling and barking, which was becoming really stressful. Since using the Dogrook bark collar, I’ve noticed a huge improvement. It seems to calm him down when I’m not around, and the barking has stopped. So far, it’s been working really well and has made leaving him home alone much easier. Definitely worth trying if you’re dealing with excessive barking.

I have been using this for a month now so I feel I have given it enough time to give it an accurate review. I have a 2.5 year old dachshund, she has always been a bit barky as they are but since she has been 18 months old we have had a really issue with her barking in the garden - sometimes at noises like car doors other times at absolutely nothing but she barks and barks and when doing this she does not listen to us when we ask her to come back into the house and runs away. We’ve had incidents where we have been unable to get her back in the house for over an hour. She can only toilet on a lead. We have tried every single training trick online, paid £120 for behaviourist sessions (she’s an odd case as totally fine on walks but the garden is a real trigger for her). I could not ever just relax in my garden as the only way to keep her quiet was constant play with her or I’d have to leave her inside and then she would be crying as she loves being outdoors. I got this bark collar and it has worked from day one, I personally only use it on her when we are spending time in the garden but it has been amazing. I use it on mode 3, it did scare her at first she would bark once it would go off and she would run to me obviously confused about it. We can now actually spend time in the garden and relax. She also is relaxing in the garden now instead of sitting waiting for something to bark at, she also listens to us and actually goes into the house when she feels like it or lets me carry her back in. She is so much calmer relaxed and can enjoy the garden. She does the occasional bark when there is a loud noise but stops once this goes off then she potters away. This has been a real life saver for us and stress is massively reduced.

Didnt work for our small dog. It vibrated but she didnt seem to care and kept barking - if anything it seemed to annoy her and she would bark more Also, second dog figured out that is she barked right next to the 1st dog the collar would activate and annoy the 1st :)

We have struggled with our 1 year old cockapoo barking at the TV, at every loud noise and every animal he sees. We tried positive reinforcing (treats) and a number of methods that simply didn’t work. We were skeptics at first about this collar but thought we would give it a try. After only two days using it during walks and prime TV (evenings) we are amazed just how well this Collar has worked. It has worked so well that he now makes the conscious decision not to bark, even when the collar is not on him. Our aim is to train him and when he is completely trained we will no longer even need the collar. We have it set on the lowest sensitivity level 1. I would highly recommend. UPDATE- after having this product for a few months, our cockapoo has started reverting back to old ways and now barks even with the collar on. Therefor I downgraded the rating to 3 stars as this collar was not a long term fix at all- quite disappointed tbh.

This works very well with my dog, I now only have to show him the collar most of the time for him to stop barking. He is very protective and feels the need to chase away birds, which can result in a barking fury. My only criticism is that it would (in my opinion) be even better if there were different sizes. He is a miniature dachshund and it does look very large and seem rather heavy for him. After trimming the excess unneeded length of collar fabric this weighs 74gm, more than 2.5 times the weight of his regular collars, which is a lot for a small dog, (the approximate equivalent of a person weighing 66kg wearing a 1kg necklace).

This is a magic collar! We rescued a dog and she was barking during the night. As soon as wee put the collar on it instantly stopped! I actually feel bad for stealing her voice now lol highly recommended

The first week my labrador puppy used it, she would stop barking and try to find out where the beeping was coming from but once she got used to it (pretty soon), she would keep barking during the vibration as if nothing is happening or almost as if she is annoyed by it. The barking collar doesn't activate on the first bark every time either, sometimes it takes 2-4 barks for it to go off, or it'll go off and she will keep barking and it won't do anything but beep and vibrate the first time. I read a similar review and was afraid my dog would be like that. Well, sadly it feels like a waste of money but hope that it may work better for people with smaller dogs. My puppy was 5 months when we got it, though. The design is pretty cool, it has an adjustable length which comes in pretty handy, but the dog will try to bite the end of it as it just hangs aside. It is really easy to use and comes with instructions, 5 levels of intensity (and two for each - green or red- less or more) but honestly, it doesn't seem to make a difference what level it is on. It also comes with some sort of discount, warranty or offer in the form of a QR code but for me, it did not work at all. It has positives, it has negatives, but for us it wasn't the right product as it didn't solve my puppy's barking problem but rather encourages her to keep on barking, so we no longer put it on. Update: lovely seller, willing to look for a solution if there is a problem. For that alone, I would recommend this shop. I also wanted to add that the battery of the barking collar lasts forever!

This product is great for a dog to response to the sound, and or vibrations. I was also happy to find out that for the most part, my dog can play with other dogs, and it doesn’t sound off. I had a similar collar, but with a remote before and for me to carry around a remote all the time just isn’t practical. I will definitely be recommending this product to others and I would purchase again. !

I really like that this bark collar works without a shock. My dogs don't like it and won't bark with it on, but I have put it against my own skin and it doesn't hurt so I don't feel guilty using it. I have guard dogs - Dobermans - and I adore the breed and feel safe with them guarding my home. But we recently moved and now we have a public trail behind our rental house. I want the dogs to keep guarding my house but I can't have them barking every time someone walks back there! This works perfectly because I take it off at night or when I am leaving the house, but it keeps the dogs from barking when they run out during the day.

I don't write reviews...ever! But as I was on my walk in the park with my incredibly barky, loud, squeaky dachshund mix this morning I couldn't wait to get home and write this one. He's a weiner and he's a puppy...and he makes noise literally ALL of the time. He's been driving me and my husband crazy since he came to live with us. Don't get me wrong, we love the little monster...but we really had no idea just how much weiners bark. So in comes the bark collar out of desperation. We really didn't want to do it, even though they call it humane it just seemed like we would be dampening his spirit. Well let me tell you...his spirit has not been dampened one bit but his bark sure has! I put this on for the first time just this morning...he barked twice, got "vibrated"...and this has now been the quietest day we've had in almost three months! And he doesn't seem to mind which is the best part. This thing is worth the money twice over, it works great. I can't really say anything about the battery life...I've only been using it for 7 hours...but I hear it works for a couple of weeks. Doesn't matter, we plan to take it off when he goes to bed at night and put it back on in the morning. It seems like a safe item, not like a shock collar at all. The vibration doesn't even seem to bother him...he acts like we strapped a toy to his neck and he's trying to figure out why! It was simple to use, just plug it in for a couple of hours, do the easy test they gave instructions for and put it on. It's amazing that he's learned the point of it all in only a few hours. Bless whomever made this thing. Oh yeah...and sizing it to your dog is simple, just measure it when it's on and cut off the excess you don't need. Easy peasy! I recommend this to anyone who is struggling with the noise...join the quiet club...you'll thank me for this review if you do. Have a blessed, quiet day.

I have a Jack Russell that has taken to frenetically barking and nearly everything. I have tried many methods to try and quiet him down and none of it worked. I saw this product, and while I was a bit skeptical at first, I decided to get it as I was at the end of my rope on trying to control my dog's barking. This collar has helped SO MUCH! The first time my dog barked with the collar on, the vibrations diverted his attention long enough for me to get through to him and make him settle down. Now my command of, "Hush," actually holds weight, as the collar provides a consistently unpleasant (but safe/non-harmful) consequence for not listening. Utilizing the collar, command, and rewards for listening gives me solid hope that the collar will soon be mostly decorative. The collar itself has a pleasant and sleek design. At first glance it doesn't really look like an e-collar. The beep/vibrate module itself isn't too large for a 20lb dog and it doesn't affect his day-to-day flexibility. The collar does not have a D-ring, so it cannot be used for walking or attaching traditional ID tags. The battery lasts a while, especially once my dog started activating it less. It needs charged about every 2 weeks, and putting it on the charger before my dog takes a nap leaves the collar fully charged once he wakes up. The activation of the collar controls his barking without being too restricting or sensitive. It does not activate when he whines or growls (so he is still able to communicate) and Mode 3 allows him to alert bark (1 - 3 brisk barks) without the collar going off (though in this mode it will still keep him from escalating to frenetic barking). The collar also doesn't easily mistake other sounds for him barking (even in Mode 5), as my big dog has barked within 4 feet of him without activating the collar. There have also been moments where other traditionally loud sounds have been going on (door slams, hammers, loud voices) and the collar not activate. I'm guessing the environment would have to be significantly loud for the collar to go off and the likelihood of that happening in a typical household is small (this collar is turned off when he is outside of the house). I have also heard that this collar will not activate if the dog howls, but my dog is not a significant howler, and the collar did activate the one time he did howl with it on (though I will note that his howls always start with barks so that may be why). When the collar was first introduced, my dog had a single spell where he tested it pretty hard, so I want to point out that the beeping and vibration will vary/become more intense if your dog chooses to ignore the first beep/vibration. So just like with any other training tool I highly advise supervising your dog with it, so they can be shown what to do/how to stop the collar going off as I can see how this can freak out an unsupervised dog. All-in-all, this collar is really what my dog needed to show him that barking is not always necessary. Sometimes you can train a dog to settle down without a bark collar, but in the cases where those other methods are not working, this is the collar for you. This collar has really saved my sanity and it has allowed my dog to better understand exactly what I want from him. If there's one thing I dislike, I dislike the fact that I didn't get this collar sooner.

My 5 month Golden Retriever Puppy will bark non stop for 15mins at 2am, 3am and 4am. We were at our wits end, so we decided to try a no shock bark collar. We use it in him for 3 consecutive nights. The barking totally stop after the first night. We didn’t use it after 3 nights and there were no more barking from him. This is so effective. He still barks at toys once at most during the day but zero barks at night. It has been 6 weeks since we used it, we don’t even wear any collar for him at night now and there’s no more barking, Really miracle!!!!
