Easy to use crack gauge with metric measurements
The crack gauge is very easy to use, the body is transparent with rich, dark markings that work well against most wall colors. There are both large bar markings (easiest to use) and a 16.5cm ruler on the other edge which works well to measure larger gaps. I have started monitoring a couple of small cracks in a section of my house foundation and this will make it easy to monitor the cracks over time. This would be a useful tool for any homeowner or inspector to have.

Lightweight, portable, ruler with width gauge for measuring cracks in cement, drywall, etc.
This clear ruler is easy to use to show a contractor, handyman, building inspector, etc. the size and length of cracks in drywall, cement, etc. Having these measurements can help you determine whether the cracks are cosmetic or something else, and can help you find resources for filling or repairing them. Because the ruler is clear, you can put it right up against the crack to determine the width of it in millimeters, and it shows up well in a photograph so that you can take it to the hardware store or show it to your contractor when getting suggestions or bids for repairs. The ruler is very lightweight and portable and is a timesaver if you have many cracks that you are planning on addressing.
