I bought this to replace the adhesive tape that comes stock on my printer because the tape had been damaged from a leak in my fep sheet that I hadn't noticed. After another failed print there was built up cured resin on the screen itself but thanks to the film that covers the screen itself on this product all I had to do was replace it and not have to worry about a screen replacement. Tldr: works great as advertised and as a screen protector from leaking resin and scratches.

Perfect replacement and fit

I got this for my Elegoo Mars 2. The fit isn't quite exact - it's just a little larger than the recessed area, so I was a little worried it might mess with the prints and made sure to realign the printer. It works well, but resin sticks to it like crazy and I can't get it off. I was only able to use the first one for a couple prints. The second one is doing better, but I have to be extra careful. They also leave a lot of residue when you pull them off. For now, this does the job and is an acceptable replacement.

I have purchased several Sovol products and have like them all, with the exception on this one. Because of the black border this was kind of difficult to get lines up correctly. When I did get it lined up and installed I found that the center section is not clear at all. It is clouded over so the UV light hardly shines through. This is not good for a resin printer. I had to remove it and that was extremely challenging. The adhesive sticks great, which poses a problem when removing. It took me a good 15-20 minutes to get it off and everything cleaned. I ended up returning the product and will get one that is clear.

First its .04 .05 thicker than factory and requires resetting zero, which is not a big deal. The black frame on the inside of the mask is slightly too big for the Mars 2. The biggest issue is the black frame is very stiff and won't set down in the recessed are like the factory. This causes the clear part of the protector to lift off the screen slightly and it gets air pockets under between the screen and protector. The adhesive is very sticky which makes it very hard to aline correctly. I am almost afraid what it is going to be like to remove it when the time comes. I would have just returned it but I put one on my machine. I addition I have had some print failures not previously encountered that I can only attribute to the poor fitting screen protector. I will be looking for a more factory like protector in the future. And maybe it is ok on other machines but it's not a good fit for the Elegoo Mars 2.

Had to replace my screen protector after a resin leak. The protectors fit good. Uses 3M glue so its gonna stick the moment it touches. Be careful to not fold it on itself.

Eso sí, su instalación no está del todo bien explicada: se ha de quitar el adhesivo trasero además de la lámina de papel que iría sobre la pantalla LCD (es un proceso pegajoso pero no dificil, también evitar tocar con los dedos la zona transparente). Luego con cuidado se aplica sobre la impresora habiendo limpiado bien los restos del anterior pegamento y el polvo de la pantalla. Finalmente, asegurando que no hay burbujas, se quita la protección exterior. A tener en cuenta que hay que aumentar 10 segundos el tiempo de exposición de las CAPAS INICIALES, no de cada una porque sería un infierno. La he probado estos días y ha ido perfectamente y sin miedo a los derrames.

Die Folie selbst könnte funktionieren, wenn nur die besch..... Anleitung besser wäre. Der mitlere Teil muss separat abgezogen werden. Macht man das nicht, dann hat man eine gut klebende undurchsichtige Klebschicht auf dem Display. Dauert nur 2h, das wieder sauber zu kriegen. Danach macht man es mit der 2. Folie richtig. Vermutlich sind deshalbb2 Stück in der Packung.

There are cheaper, quicker and far more efficient options Pro The adhesive is very good, so good that you'll waste plenty of time trying to clean it off. - It make me appreciate high quality glass based protectors more. - You won't spend as much time preparing successful prints, because this product has a high UV light deterrence - You will cultivate a sense of deep calm as you spend many hours trying to make this product work. Cons - Poor installation instructions (but if you read the reviews you can avoid wasting the product) - Unfortunately even when you follow the correct instructions the gasket distorts prints and ridiculously increases the exposure time needed to cure prints which reduces your screen life - a new screen costs about 40-50 dollars and this product, at nearly half the price, and 5 hours wasted re-calibrating is not fit for purpose. Will be asking for a refund on this one.
