Oh my
I had no idea what I was missing until I got the Vansky Black Light UV Flashlight. This thing is addicting to use. You’ll walk around your whole house seeing things you never knew were there — and honestly some things you might wish you hadn’t. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. For the price, the brightness is shocking. Ultra bright is not an exaggeration. It lights up stains, pet messes, scorpions, and residue that are completely invisible to the naked eye under normal light. Works on carpet, hardwood, upholstery, walls — you name it. I picked it up mostly for checking for pet accidents and it found spots I had completely missed with regular cleaning. Immediately paid for itself. Now I use it for everything — checking hotel rooms, authenticating documents, even just showing friends and family who can’t believe what shows up.

Very bright
This light works well and is very bright. It is a great value for the money and is durable. The only downside is that it is not rechargeable and the batteries tend to go quickly. Still suggest as long as you don’t mind going through batteries

Powerful
This flashlight is simply awesome. Very powerful and easy to use. I was impressed what I could see other than dog spots. Helped significantly finding other issues.

Does not work well for pet stains
This flashlight is advertised to work for detecting pet stains such as urine, but it does not work well with my dog. After some research 395nm seems to be a less ideal wavelength that leads to wash out. If you are buying for pet urine detection I suggest buying a 365nm flashlight. On the plus side it is very bright and otherwise a good flash light.

Worked great
Nice bright UV flashlight. Casts a good wide UV light beam. Worked great under the hood.

Bright!!
The light is awesome. I’ve tried several over the years and this one is the best! It works so well that you don’t even really need it to be dark to use the light.

Beware! Batteries overheat.
I inserted brand new batteries and it works for a few minutes then stopped working. I took the batteries out and they were HOT. I inserted 6 more brand new batteries, making sure the arrows were in the correct direction, but it still didn't work. I took those batteries out and they were also HOT. I waited a couple weeks and tried 6 more batteries but before I inserted them, I removed the lamp lenses and discovered the white wire looked compromised. The solder for each individual bulb are sharp, so the solder points must have penetrated the wires. I used electrical tape to protect the white wire. I also ran 2 layers of electrical tape along the entire back of the bulb board to prevent further problems. I reassembled the unit, inserting a 3rd set of batteries. It worked but I do not trust it to leave the batteries in there when not in use because I do not want the batteries to overheat again and cause a fire. I don't think you should have to go through all that to get a product to work. I also do not think you should have to remove the batteries after each use to feel safe. I think this product needs a rubber cover over the solder joints. Perhaps it should run on 2 D cell batteries instead of 6 AA batteries placed in 2 separate battery holders (each holding 3 AA batteries).

Heats up during use, might be dangerous.
The light is adequate, but I am concerned about how warm the flashlight becomes during use. After only 5 minutes, it got warm enough that I felt I needed to turn it off to cool down. I am worried it might get too hot to handle, literally. I am using standard AA batteries as directed. It takes 6 batteries. I'm using Energizer brand, not lithium, so why does it get very warm during use?

Decent up flashlight
Light is decently bright. Biggest down side is it uses a lot of batteries and really doesn’t last all that long. But for what I needed it to do it was just fine.

Fantastic for golf ball hunting
I am - if I'm being generous - more of an enthusiastic golfer than I am talented. As such, I offer up a fair number of balls to the gods of the woods each round. One day while looking for a ball that was 'right here somewhere' with the friend I was playing with, I mentioned it'd be a lot easier if you had a black light flashlight - if they were even a thing. The next day he texted me 'flashlights are here' and I was confused. He'd found and bought a pair of black flight flashlights after our round and had them overnighted. We went out that night and between the two of us found 265 balls in varying conditions. It was SO EASY to spot them. I even found one partway up a tree, though it had to stay there as it was too high to reach. The next day I ordered my own - this model, with twice as many LED. It's heavier than the 50 LED model, using twice as many batteries, but it has far better range and light spread, which makes searching for golf balls that much easier. Absolutely worth a pickup if you've thought about going out to get some of your golf balls back.
