Appears robust, some tips on installation
Was skeptical as others had been but the plastic is much tougher than what the original headphones come with. Installation can be a pain as others have mentioned. I found a method which worked quite well and hopefully will prove helpful: 1. Make sure that the piece with the Left/Right indicator is positioned on the INSIDE, meaning that once installed and the headphones are on your head those pieces are making contact with your head. This way the screws will be on the outside making them much easier to tighten. 2. Attach the two pieces together to the headphone band and tighten the screws lightly so that the pieces are no longer falling apart but remain secured to the band, yet that there is a sufficient gap between them. 3. Take the appropriate headphone speaker and slide the headband base with which it is attached inside that space between the two replacement pieces you just secured to the headband. 4. Continue to tighten the screws until the two pieces are flush against each other and encase the headband base securely. Repeat on the other side with the second speaker. As mentioned the material appears much more robust than the original. Those lasted me around two years before forming cracks and shattering so I expect this to perform better. Will update as needed.

I'm so glad I bought these. A true lifesaver
I bought these a last year on the precautions that my DTS would snap because of brittle plastic and I'm glad I got these cause i had to install the right side component. They're 3D printed but they're very tough and sturdy. They're not gonna break apart from UV and they're not gonna snap easily by your fingertips nor if you drop them on the ground. They may not be the prettiest, but I would put my trust in them again. Highly recommended!

Better Quality Than the Original.
Good replacement for broken piece. It was easy to install and I honestly believe the replacement is better quality than the original part that comes with the headphones. Been using the replacement for a few months and its still going strong with no sign of breaking any time soon.

Half the price of the offical replacement kit
Saved a pair of $170 headphones for $18, hopefully will last a good long while. Was able to get them shipped overnight rather than not being able to use my headphones for a few days. Obviously 3D printed (not a complaint) and files for this use case exist plenty of places for free if you have a 3D printer. The print quality seems fine enough and identical to the product photos. Installation is a bit tricky, but that's inherent to the construction of the headphones not the fault of the covers. I reused the original screws from my headphones and once assembled there isn't a major gap between the two pieces of each slider cover.

PRODUCT HAS NO QUALITY CONTROL
It feels like I asked my friend with a 3d printer to do something quickly for me. Terrible installation process once the screw is in good luck.

No Screws
Material is great, and more sturdy than the original, but there were no screws with the 3D printed replacement parts. Imagine the screws were lost, so now I wouldn't be able to use the parts I payed nearly $20 for.

Iโm happy. They work great.
So right off the back, these are definitely 3D printed. But they are study and the build quality blows the OEM parts out of the water. Took a bit of finagling to do, but Iโve managed to now only get them on but sealed. I used the original screws for this. The left is sealed tight the right is about 99.5% there. I could get it like the left but Iโm honestly tired of messing with this longer than I have (and it really took me about 3-4 minutes for the whole job). I have the DT990โs. They feel great in my head again. Glad I got these instead of the more expensive replacements. They do the job.
