This is so versatile and small. I bought it because my kids want to cook more for themselves, but aren't ready for the oven. The long handle keeps them safe while they are learning how to maneuver hot things-with adult supervision. So far, we have cooked toast in normal mode-turned out fantastic! It's large enough to toast a sub roll and if you use the bagel option only the inside will be toasted. Frozen waffles turned out soft inside, crispy outside. In the cooking mode we've made an egg, chicken fajitas made from 1 chicken breast, half a bell pepper and an onion(the pic is before I turned it on broil to get a char, it worked perfectly), regular baked chicken, cheese toast, quesadillas, and cinnamon toast. Everything we have tried has worked out great. Think of small things to cook. This isn't large enough for baked potatoes, it could cook up some chopped red potatoes for one really well. Frozen things we baked were breaded shrimp and pizza rolls, both turned out fantastic. I have been lining the tray with foil so it stays nice longer. I'll likely just cut a silicone mat to fit it for easy clean and use foil to make walls if it's something that's liquidy. I would not buy this if you want something to replace a normal sized toaster oven, it's not meant for that. If you're single, or want a way for your kids to be able to learn how to cook, this is a great option. If you like toasted subs this thing would be a game changer. Toast the sub in toaster mode, add ingredients, flip down and set to broil or bake. It could also be used to melt cheese on top of something like a burger patty or fries. The best part for me is it stands up to store so it takes up maybe 6" longer space than a normal 2 slice toaster oven. I store the tray inside it so it works as a dust shield and keeps things from falling in it on accident. 10/10 for sure!

I was looking to replace an old toaster oven, but all the new ones were just too big. When I saw the Ninja 2-in-1 Flip Toaster, I decided to give it a try. It works great as a toaster oven for small amounts of food. (A French bread pizza fits fine, but not 2 full slices of pizza, for example.) The timer stops when you pull the tray out to check, which is a nice feature. As a stand up toaster, it toasts quickly and evenly, and the countdown timer is a huge plus! My only complaint is that there's no convenient way to store the toaster oven tray in or on the toaster itself, but it's a minor issue. Overall, this is a great small toaster and toaster oven that's transformed my small countertop into something much more functional.

This is a good toaster oven. I like that I can toast large pieces of bread. After the first time of use it was easier to use. I did have to watch my bread when toasting the first time and adjust the temp. I do adjust the temp for different types of bread items. It's easy to store and takes up less room than my original toaster. I can store the tray with the air fryer liners. I would definitely purchase the air fryer liners for the tray. I cut them in half and they fit just fine. They make clean up so easy.

We just moved and have a small kitchen. We gave away our regular toaster oven and air fryer when we moved. I was looking for something compact that could do both jobs, with regular toasting being the priority. This toaster serves the purpose perfectly. It toasts super fast -- I think because it uses quartz elements instead of traditional resistive heating elements. It can toast 2 normal size pieces of bread like a regular toaster; however, because of the long shape it can also toaster larger slices like you would get out of an artisan bread boule. The baking function also works great. Because of the small space and its ability to get super hot, it's really good at roasting, which is basically what we used our air fryer for. We roasted some tofu the other day, and it turned out perfectly. The compartment is a little small, but it's fine for just my partner and I. You can also cook things in batches if you aren't short on time. My main issue is with the beeping it does. It beeps for everything. Start toasting: beep; stop toasting: beep; take out the tray: beep; put the tray back in: beep. You get the idea. I wish I could disable that (if I knew I could safely take it apart and remove the speaker, I would). Aside from that, it's great!

And here we are...we literally use it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!!! It's a great item. Do i wish it was a little bigger? Sure. But when I want to heat something up that doesn't microwave well, this is perfect. I don't need to heat up my oven. I do have to leave the items in a few minutes longer than my oven but in the long run, it works just great. The toaster part is fantastic as well. We have yet to be unhappy with it. It's such a great item that my husband even suggested that we get one for our daughter's apartment. She had a toaster oven but it took up so much room on her counter that she barely used it. She had to move stuff over to get to the toaster oven. She uses this all the time. My ONLY complaint about it is, the crumb tray. I wish it slid out all the way. It's hard to wipe it down. The crumbs get caught in every corner and every time I clean it, the crumbs go flying all over the place. Would love to have the ability to take it out and wash it. All in all, it's a great item. Perfect for a college student with a limited amount of space. Especially for heating up leftovers. Highly recommend it!!

When my toaster started toasting unevenly, I began the search for a new one. When I put toaster in the in the Amazon Search bar it returned the usual long list of possibilities. As I started scrolling down the possibilities this toaster popped up. I quickly scrolled past it as either a mistake or an oddity. As I continued to sort through the possibilities and make the various comparisons I do before making a purchase I kept seeing this one pop up. After going by it a number of times I finally stopped and gave it a once over and then moved on. However, each time it came up I gave it a better look and started to think about it more and more. First it was 2 appliances in one so not only was the value there, but it would save counter space. Next with respect to its bread/pastry/waffle etc. toasting ability it is a wide slice toaster which was capable of handling any shape and size Item I wanted to toast which spoke to its actual toasting capacity. I never toast more than 2 pieces at one time, but I do like to toast larger artisan breads. This has one big slice toasting area capable of toasting most anything. Next the various settings toast, bagel, and defrost are used to add the proper amount of time to the crispness you have already selected. The visible countdown timer is something I did not know I wanted/liked until I had it. LoL. As I referenced earlier it is two appliances in one. Not only is it a toaster but it is also a small toaster oven which makes its price at the higher end of the continuum a real value. First, let me say the toaster oven space is small but perfect for baking small things not worth turning your oven on for. Like the bread toaster the toaster oven too allows you vary the temperature level to whatever works for what you are heating up. Once you set the temperature you want, you set the time you want it to cook and it too shuts off automatically when done. This is certainly not your ordinary toaster (which is what I started out for) but when you consider all it does. It was the right choice for me.

I love ninja kitchen appliances, but there are some design flaws with this one. I’ve waited for this to go on Sale to purchase it, but it’s not as practical as I thought it would be. I can only toast one piece of toast at a time, however it does toast it flawlessly! That I am impressed with. I set the level to 4, and my toast was perfect. The sideways option to bake isn’t the greatest, and it’s kind of wonky to flip it. That tray is a super flawed design and doesn’t sit flush in the toaster. It does toast though, but it takes longer than my air fryer would so I may only use that option for pop tarts and garlic toast. The price is reasonable on sale. For that it’s worth it, but it is bulky. Maybe it’s still worth it. I’ll try using it a few more times as I’m on the fence about returning due to not being able to toast more than one toast at a time. You can see on my photos how smushed they have to be to toast 2 at a time. The digital display is super unique for a toaster, but it’s classic ninja brand. I kind of like it. I did also get an extended warranty as my experience with this brand only seems to last a year before it fails. This way I’ll be covered for a replacement if I keep it. This flip toaster is great! I use it so much. Takes less space on the counter because of its flip up design. Genius! It toasts bread to perfection and has so many options. It works great as a toaster oven as well. Used to grill cheese on toast and even made little cupcake eggies with different ingredients. Best toaster/ oven purchase. I read complaints about the crumb tray not being easy to clean because it’s not removable. The reason for that is because it’s an oven also and can heat up to high temperatures, the tray acts as the back wall. If someone were to forget to put it back in it could potentially cause a fire on your back wall or damage. I just use a cloth and a mini vac to clean up the crumbs. No big deal. Also some people say the removable oven tray handle is loose. You have to really tighten it. It feels like you’re breaking it but you’re not. Definitely recommend this toaster.

Finally a toaster that toasts evenly and truly can toast well on bagel setting. Regular wire element toasters I have to drop an English muffin couple time and if I wanted an even toast I had to move the muffin part way through toasting. The ninja toaster I just drop it and and add time I want for the darker toast I like.
