5 Stars – A Little Goes a Long Way – Instant Antique Magic!
Rub ’n Buff is a total game-changer for DIY projects and furniture makeovers! I used it to refresh an old mirror frame and some cabinet hardware, and the transformation was incredible. It adds a rich, metallic finish with beautiful depth—like instant vintage charm in a tube. Application is super easy: just dab a small amount with your finger or a cloth, rub it on, and buff it to a shine. A little really does go a long way, and the finish dries quickly with minimal mess. I love that it comes in a variety of colors—Antique Gold and Silver Leaf are my go-tos, but now I want to try them all. If you’re into crafting, upcycling, or just want to add elegant detail to décor, Rub ’n Buff is a must-have in your toolbox. It’s fast, fun, and seriously addictive!

This stuff is amazing!
This stuff is so cool. I don’t know how I didn’t find out about it sooner. I was restoring multiple doors in my home that had old brass hinges and decided to use this instead of taking off all of the doors and changing hinges and re hanging. This works amazing and you only need a tiny bit. The little tube is more than enough coverage for multiple projects. It comes with little foam brushes but I used a small dense make up brush. You just apply a small amount and then wait a few hours and polish with a microfiber cloth. Looks like new! It does have a bit of a strong smell but it dries and fades really quickly.

Perfect!
Wow! This stuff was amazing. I wanted to change the look of my ceiling fan but didn’t know how I could because I can’t just spray paint the motor assembly part. I came across Rub N Buff and decided to give it a try. I am very pleasantly surprised. I had a rust brown fan and wanted something in the brushed nickel finish. I bought the Rub N Buff in color Pewter and it is perfect! It completely covered the brown and left me with a nice brushed nickel like finish. The applicators that came in this pack worked perfectly. I tried other methods of applying, like sponge brushes, paper towels, rags, etc… but these handy applicators worked perfectly to apply and rub it to a great finish. A little goes a long way too, I failed to check the size of the tube before I ordered and I was disappointed to see a tiny tube when I opened my package. I thought there was absolutely no way this teeny tiny tube would cover my bag more ceiling fan, but I barely used 1/3 of the tube! I’m excited to see what else I can use it for!

Looks good, need to practice before jump into using
I like the color, I am still learning how to apply and get what I want. It goes on easily but I had some smudge-y issues, ti wanted to dry faster than I worked causing the smudge and lines. I think it's good overall, the finished product is good but do a test on something of similar material before use.

Works great! Exactly what I wanted.
It works absolutely perfect. I wanted to add a gold leaf effect on a black statue I had spray painted and this did the job!

Adds Depth and Elegance — Works Like a Charm
I absolutely loved using Rub ‘n Buff wax! It works wonderfully and adds beautiful depth and richness to metal surfaces. I used it on doorknobs and push plates, and it instantly dressed up my doors, giving them a more elegant, sophisticated look. The application is smooth and easy to control, and the results look professional. If you want to elevate your hardware or add a refined touch to any project, this wax is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Gave me my perfect brass chair
4.5 overall. I used it to turn black metal parts of a swivel chair to “brass” using the Gold Leaf color and the black underneath actually makes it look more aged which I ended up liking a lot. Pros: Dries fast. Love that there’s very little downtime. Cons: Dries fast. It dries so fast that it is a bit tricky to work with in larger expanses of material coverage. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do well if you just try to go over spotty areas on a second pass. Towards the end, I was able to counteract it by just applying more than I needed and working very very quickly with the brush. Stippling worked best to get the color on better and then quickly brushing over it to give it a more brushed look. The round brush in the set worked a lot better than using a cloth for application so I’m glad I decided to get the brush set during a flash deal. It does smell like varnish so if you’re working on a larger project, you should do it outside or in the garage. It worked both on the metal and the plastic parts of the chair to give it a cohesive look.
