Does this device actually chill the water? Is ice required to use it?

It keeps the iced water very very cold around the knee pad. The tub doesn’t chill the water, the ice keeps water cold then it gets chilled as it goes thru the connecting tubes. This is an excellent machine. It helped inflammation for posting and pre knee surgery.

I am unable to extend timer past 30 minutes? How can I program to 90 mins?

If I remember correctly some models time our at 30 minutes. If you have the model that goes to 90, press the 30 minutes time 3 times. I’ll confirm that once I am home. It’s an amazing machine. I would not have made it through knee replacement without it.
