true lab quality, already an important tool for my kitchen.

As you can infer from the title, I like the look of Erlenmeyer flasks. This is a... smart looking carafe. But keep an eye on the handle attachment. It looks and feels very slapdash--which isn't a terrible aesthetic as it does look like it was assemble from lab equipment. While I like it, I haven't dared use it as a kettle. Whistle or no, borosilicate glass or not, I just don't feel comfortable using it as a kettle on an electric coil stove top. I do, however, take some amusement in transferring coffee from my Chemex coffeemaker to a large Erlenmeyer flask to use as a giant coffee cup.

Seems durable and very nice quality. Over all just a really cool kettle. Good value for money though it is a little small but still super cool

I love the look of this kettle and that it is lab grade material, but the handle does not stay tight. If it is something you use every day, you will need to tighten the handle after every use. Mine finally met its end because I forgot to check the handle and the flask slipped out and smashed on the floor.

WARNING THIS IS DANGEROUS. I have just boiled some water and upon removing the plug the contents exploded upwards with such force as to cover a wide area resulting in boiling water landing on my arm and chest. It appears the "whistle/pressure release valve does not provide enough release.
