Does the document camera have a fill light effect?

Hello, The Document Camera has a variable light source to illuminate the subject but on glossy prints it can produce annoying reflect glare effects. I found by turning the in-built light off and using a simple anglepiose light from the side eliminated this problem. Regards Bob.
