I use this for teaching piano to young students. It is a student-sized board, but the lines are big enough that a small group or circle of children can see what is written. Wipes off easily and so far none of the black printing has chipped or peeled. I like that the back is blank whiteboard space and that the lines do not have treble and bass clef lines on them, as I sometimes make it two lines of treble clef music. Finally, having the keyboard right underneath the staves is excellent since I can color in a key and write the written note directly above on the staff. It helps my students understand tremendously. A very versatile tool.

This dry erase board is just what we needed to help with teaching music in our homeschool. We can write out parts for our kids to practice, quiz them on notes or chords, or let them practice composing themselves! Great for all ages; I can even teach my toddler the piano keys at the bottom. Love that I don't have to use up paper and ink to print a lot of worksheets. The board is easy to erase (if you erase right after using it- I haven't tested it sitting out several days but that normally makes it more difficult to erase), and is pretty sturdy for regular use. Unfortunately, my kiddo took it off the music stand and then later accidentally sat on it on the couch, and it splintered a few inches at the bottom. So don't let your kids sit on it. :-( But really, if it's used correctly, it's plenty sturdy. :-) I highly recommend it!

It can be tricky to teach students how to read music — I have an 18 person piano studio with an average age of about 12, and I knew I needed something more than a quick doodle or even manuscript paper. This dry erase board is absolutely perfect. Concepts that usually take much longer to detail and explain were understood immediately upon first use today with students who had struggled before. The size and the inclusion of piano keys is great. It’s also awesome that the dry erase board includes the full grand staff, most only include lines. Really an amazing product for a steal that is going to advance my students at a faster pace. Kids are all smiles today after finally “getting” it with the use of this board.

I was surprised at how well this actually erases. There is no color residue left after erasing no matter what color dry erase marker we've used so far. The size is great for prating site reading and the blank opposite side is great for quickly explaining something. The only thing I have noticed so far is over time I imagine the piano and staff decals might scrape off entirely if mishandled as my kids like to play with it.

This little dry erase board is a good tool for beginners' piano lessons. Once they have learned the keys of the piano and play each "D" in every octave, then each "A" and so on to all seven, then they start identifying notes on the staff. In a lesson we might show them written notes via three different methods: in an easy song, on flash cards, and on this dry erase board. Using different methods provides variety and helps build a younger student's ability to focus for longer periods. It deepens their comprehension. The product was delivered quickly and has no defects. I used my own dry erase markers and it erases cleanly. THANKS!
