Folder Blue

This is the standard Douk-Douk carbon steel sorcier model but with an added blue paint job that obscures the stamping a little and a case. It's a nice gift presentation of a classic knife and the belt loop on the case is at an angle which probably will force the owner to carry it on the left side. The sharpening steel is a pleasant addition and makes for a fancier presentation than a simple knife in a case. In the field I could see using the sharpener if it was all I had handy but more effective small ceramic sharpeners can be had for a few dollars these days, so I would put the presence of the sharpener as more an aesthetic touch than a functional one. Still, the presentation does make a rather plain knife appear to be somewhat fancier than it essentially is.
