Summary: I tested 2 headsets by Moniko – a wired in-ear headset and a wireless in-ear headset. This review relates to the wired headset. Usually, I prefer a wireless headset over wired headset, but in this case, I couldn’t ignore the benefits of this wired headset. The headset came inside a simple but nice squared paper box, with not too many details about it. It offers an excellent sound quality, as I tested it with various types of music, audio books and phone calls with my smartphone. I won’t exaggerate by saying that this headset is equal to the UrBeates headset that I purchased back in 2015 (and I paid for them “only” $50 because it was on sale…). The materials used in this headset are very good, as it doesn’t feel cheap at all – the wire doesn’t get tangled and I can relate that to the type of cable. The length of the cable is 1.2 meters overall. The headset includes a built-in microphone to make phone calls & a multi-functional control button to control the smartphone and media player. The phone calls quality using this headset is excellent, those I spoke with claimed they heard me loud and clear – indoor & outdoor. The multi-functional button is big enough and responds well. During the use of the headset, I lost one earbud, so make sure you place the headset in a safe place if you don’t use it. To make sure this happens, you receive with the headset a nice compact and rounded storage case with the “Moniko” logo on it. In addition, you receive 2 additional pairs of earbuds in different sizes, to make sure the headset will fit into your ears properly. The earphones aren’t magnetized to each other, so keep that in mind. In my opinion this headset is a great purchase if you are interested in an affordable in-ear headset, especially if you plan listening to audio with it. The pros: - Excellent audio quality. - Looks good. - Wire doesn’t tangle (easily…). - Suitable for making phone calls. - Excellent price compared to UrBeats headset that cost much more, and offers about the same audio quality. - Comes with a nice case and additional 2 pairs of earbuds in different sizes The cons: - Earphones aren’t magnetized to each other. - I lost one earbud during the time I tested it, so though it might be my fault, this is something that happens, and you should make sure to place it in a safe place if you don’t use it. - Though I like the overall design of this headset, I still think the part where the microphone & multi-functional button are located is a bit simple / looks cheap. **** FAQ : **** Please make sure you watch the video review I made about this headset. Awesome little packaged product. Stereo sound works great on my iPhone, when a call comes in, I don't have to remove my earbuds. Just push the little button and it disconnects. You can also use that to control your music without pulling it up on your phone. I love the silicone feel. Nice and flexible, the wiring seems to be well protected. with my sensitive ears it's hard to find earbuds that aren't painful. It comes with 3 different sizes of covers to adjust for ear sizes. In love with them!

Pros: Good sound quality, does not get tangled easily. Cons: I have had a lot of difficulty keeping the earbuds in my ear. I have tried all three sizes of the rubber pieces, but they all pop out of my ear when I'm walking or even moving my head slightly. On top of that the rubber pieces constantly pop off with hardly any pressure applied. Another issue is the filter that is suppose to protect dirt and earwax from falling in is very cheaply made. One of them won't stay in place and I have been unable to clean it due to it falling apart when I attempt to do so. My last issue is the cord is fairly short, but I knew that going in from the description. Overall: I bought these headphones mostly because I wanted headphones that wouldn't tangle and the reviews seemed like these would be a good fit. I am very disappointed in how I can barely use them unless I am just sitting at my desk.

Got these a few days ago based on all the positive reviews so far. Bought these to replace a great-sounding pair of RHA MA-350 earbuds that I had replaced once but broke again after warranty. Design on these Moniko earbuds seems pretty sturdy as long as you listen with them looped around the ear to hold in place, though the cable insulation is kind of sticky and catches on sleeves and jackets. As far as sound quality -- out of the box, I thought I had a defective product. With iTunes EQ off, all I could hear was bass, with mids all mushed together and highs almost nonexistent. They sound like you're listening to all your music through a subwoofer. I have a pretty broad collection of music and am used to a crisp, even fidelity that can work for classical, folk and jazz as well as rock and hip hop. I ran through iPhone's default EQ settings and it's passable when set to "treble booster", but even there the midrange is muddy. Tried burning them in with about 24 hours of screamo electronica at full volume, but it didn't help. If you're used to studio-type headphones that are faithful to original mix, don't buy these. UPDATE 6/17/17: After receiving repeated emails from the vendor asking me to improve my review, I was offered a partial refund of $8 if I improved my review. So I accepted their offer. Now that the price I paid is a little more in line with what the product is worth for my purposes, i'm raising my review from 2 stars to 3. But I stand by what I previously wrote.

Very poor quality. After 2 months, one of the 2 earbud doesn't communicate sounds although I have been very careful and there is absolutely no scratch or anything like it on the headphones, look like brand new. Would not recommend this product.

The review should be 5 stars, but I'd like to set some expectations. I will not go over pros, since everyone else has, but the few minor issues. First there are two headphones that look to be the same,just rebranded. IDK which one is original which one is fake, these are $2 cheaper than the vavo brand. Second Headphone wires keep getting thinner, these are above average thicker, from pictures I thought they would be solid, but their still a bit slim, again above average tho'. Third I played a silence wav file, no hiss from direct input from phones. I plugged into PC, hiss. I plugged into aux extension cord, major sound drop and hiss. Again, these show to be good, but not exceptional. At $17 didn't expect greatness, but disappointed on the aux extension issue ,which is how I use my headphones. Straight from your phone they sound great! 40hz Test Played well, response was good, but had noise. I'd say the response is solid 50hz> Anything below you'll start hearing noise. Hands down 4 star for the target market and price range, but people like to look at negative reviews so I'd figure I level it out to set some expectations. These are the best cheap headphones you can get for $17. Careful plugging into PC, auxillary extension or using them for excersice doh.

These are very good quality as far as earbuds go. I find that most people either like earbuds or just tolerate them for the reason they have to. Whichever reason you have to have a pair, choose these. The sound is great and its the easiest to control. I have not used them for phone calls. I normally use them for music or listening to speeches online. My son uses them for school in computer lab and also for music. They are great

Great set of headphones. the speakers in these things are great. I have three different pair of headphone from various brands, and thesee are the best out of the three. For those that do a lot of moving, the coating that covers the copper wiring is made of a rubber like material that creates a substantial ammount of friction against my clothes. I find myselfhaving to readjust frequently. However, I am only allowed to use one earbud at a time at work and putting the other earbud behind my neck and over my shoulder tucked into my t-shirt works fine.

Ho acquistato questi auricolari perché convinto dalle recensioni molto positive e approfittando di una offerta a tempo limitato. purtroppo ho iniziato ad usarli troppo tardi per restituirli. Hanno mostrato infatti da subito un problema all'auricolare del filo che porta il microfono: l'audio a volte si attenua o si sentono come degli scricchiolii, probabilmente un problema di contatto del filo. A peggiorare la cosa, la zip della custodia (che per altro avevo trovato decisamente utile per custodirli senza rischiare di intrecciare sempre i fili) si è rotta e adesso ha perso la sua ottima funzionalità rimandendo sempre un poco aperta. Decisamente deluso.....
