Delivery wasn't the fastest, but it was worth the wait, it's a little runny like an old fashioned gloss but covers well and dries quickly, really transformed the front door

Lovely paint door looks like new

I had a burn mark on my pvc window from my airfryer so decided to try this paint to hide it. It looks pretty good and i'm pretty happy with it. It certainly looks better than it did and the colour is good. No stickiness and decent coverage. Easy to apply.

Good colour match to my chartwell green door - I painted our old upvc windows (they need replacing really, I thought if nothing else I could see how the colour would look) to the side of the bungalow also 2 large bay windows, I read reviews about making sure everything was cleaned and lightly sanded and wiped over with white spirit. I chose an over-cast day and masked everything up before I started as I'd read it dries very quickly - I did 2 coats within a few hours and the result is just what I wanted (my husband was a little sceptical if it would work - even he said it looked good!). I would agree with other reviews that it doesn't take so well on mastic, I did a third coat with very fine bush to mastic and it covered ok - if I was to do it again I would first paint round mastic then 2 coats - I used up the whole 1 Lt tin on the windows and I wouldn't hesitate to use again if/when needed.

Brilliant stuff. It is thin but covers very well. Changed my red door to anthracite in one coat. Loads left so I did a second coat and still have loads more for any remedial work. Highly recommend. I used gel nail polish remover for any spills and it worked a treat.

UPDATE: After months of having this paint on my door, it's durability has maintained during winter weather. There are is a small area that haals pealed away slightly, its around the arch of the door window. Otherwise, my r/v below remains the same. Excellent paint. I love my new black door. Good quality and so far has good stability. Its pricey but there's no point in buying cheap paint for jobs like this. It has an extremely strong odour so I advise opening all windows and doors, wear gloves and a mask if you're having prolonged exposure. I did 2 coats of my door and have two thirds of a tin left. Be prepared to say goodbye to your paint brush as it does not come off easily. Even with appropriate cleaning solutions. Very happy! Would recommend

This item was delivered leaking, luckily it was in a plastic bag as well as the the box but the paint itself is sticky due to the leakage

So after making the decision to change our Stable door we chose this paint as reviews were really good . As others have said the paint it's self is very thin, but that's not a bad thing as our door took 3 coats and the tin has loads left in it. Enough to paint all windows if they needed it!! It's very hard to clean the brushes inbetween coats as another reviewer mentioned, infact it's impossible. White spirit doesn't work at all like it does on other brushes with normal paint. However I found that HG Sticker remover from Amazon does work, soak and there ready to use again . Totally happy with the paint and our door looks like new
