Was apprehensive about this Chinese product, but on the contrary found this useful and of good quality. It does its job very well.

Perfect solution for cable joints.
This connector is a perfect solution for simple straight through joints. Whether you’re using it for permanent connection of device to power line or using it for temporary device connectivity testing this is very handy. The Push in type connectivity is very handy & no need to carry a screw driver to fix wires. The metal part of the connector is thick enough to take care of current required for devices like LED lamps, regular bulbs, Exhaust fans, Ceiling fans, etc. Use of electrical insulation tapes are not durable and can be easily snapped due to weather.
