This is our new favorite brand of toasted sesame oil. It has lots of flavor and a great aroma. The price is very good for a large bottle like this. We use it when making Korean BBQ at home. Great on beef, pork, and chicken. I don't think toasted sesame oil can be used at really high heat so we usually just drizzle at the end or use it in marinades. The bottle/container is really cute too!

Super delicious! I'm on my third bottle of this. It typically lasts me 3-4 years, well beyond the "best by" date. For such a high quality oil, I find it to be a good value. It smells and tastes heavenly. It's a perfect size for my use. Sometimes I keep it in the refrigerator to help preserve it, since I don't use that much of it that often. But it keeps pretty well in a non-refrigerated cabinet, if you prefer. We love this in a sauce/marinade I make with soy sauce, rice vinegar, freshly microplaned ginger, minced/planed garlic, mirin (or sake & a little bit of added sugar). It's delicious on fish, chicken, or just about anything you can think of. The savory flavor of the toasted sesame oil really elevates it. Be aware that toasted sesame oil doesn't have a very high smoke point, and high heat destroys the delicate flavor anyway. Keep the heat down, or add a little bit more after removing from heat.

I really like sesame oil. I like toasted sesame oil even more. Just two tiny problems. The container should be bigger. And the taste should be a bit more intense. This one is definitely mild. Another time I bought the Japanese version, and its flavor was really strong. I liked it. My wife didn’t like it because it overpowered everything else.
