They are both wax.
I originally thought this was a wax and powder duo, but both are actually wax. I’ve been using the darker shade, while the lighter one hasn’t been touched as it’s not my color. The product itself is very good and lasts all day. Probably my fault for not reading up on it properly beforehand.

Awful case
I've bought this a couple of times. The makeup isn't bad but the case is awful and breaks very easily. First the lid becomes loose then the whole case splits in half. This has happened TWICE now so it seems like a faulty design. It's just in my makeup bag and should be able to endure daily use

I ordered 2 kits and another one is still good and fully packaged but not this one. It is opened and used. Never order with Amazon again I better go to the shop and take it myself.
