Fantastic case. It has the perfect amount of "grip" feel so it won't slip from your hand, but unlike a lot of cases, it sill not gather dust or feel sticky. All of the buttons work perfectly, especially the camera control button. The magnet connection on the back is the strongest I have had on a case so far, there is an almost 0% chance this will fall off a magsafe connector. ESR is now my first choice for cases, and I will be looking into what else they make.

This ESR case for the iPhone 17 Pro is a great combination of protection and style. I like the clear back because it lets the phone’s design show through while still providing solid protection. The case feels very sturdy and well made. It has military-grade drop protection, and the corners seem reinforced, which gives me confidence that it will protect the phone from everyday drops and bumps. The fit is also perfect—snug without being difficult to put on or remove. One of the best features is the MagSafe compatibility. The magnets are strong and hold securely with chargers and accessories, which is really convenient. The camera protection and raised edges are also nice touches that help keep the lenses and screen from contacting surfaces. Overall, this is a great clear case if you want reliable protection, strong MagSafe performance, and a clean look without adding a lot of bulk to your phone. Highly recommended.

This case is absolutely 1000% worth it. I’ve tried a few different cases for the iPhone Air and this one is my absolute favorite. It has full camera plateau coverage with a black rubber/tpu finish, as to not attract visible dust between the lens and the case. It has a camera slider overlay button, so your actual phones button isn’t exposed, which would leave flimsy material around the button (I’ve seen this problem on several cases but ESR did the right thing and covered the button with no loss in functionality). It’s honestly really impressive. The case looks very minimalist and sleek, and feels secure in hand. The volume and power button covers have a soft rubbery feel but you can still feel the “click” of the buttons underneath. Also, there’s a nice lip of coverage above the screen, which even very expensive cases get wrong. It’s not excessive to where it makes the phone noticeably thicker, but it adds peace of mind. Microphone and charge port cutouts are precise and rounded off smoothly. Nothing cheap looking and nothing was overlooked. The MagSafe ring is just as strong as the one on the phone itself. They thought of all of the details as if they were designing a case that they would want to use, and they covered all of the bases. I will be buying several more as they are very inexpensive, to where I can buy 5 of them for the life of the phone before approaching the cost of ONE big brand name case. Amazing work.

The ESR HaloLock case for the iPhone 16 Pro is one of the best cases I've used in terms of balancing protection with a slim profile. The MagSafe compatibility works flawlessly - my MagSafe charger and wallet snap on perfectly every time without any misalignment issues. The clear back shows off the iPhone's design while the military-grade drop protection gives me real confidence that my phone is protected from everyday bumps and falls. I particularly appreciate that the Camera Control button cutout is precisely placed, making it easy to use that feature without removing the case. The case adds minimal bulk while still providing solid grip, and after several months of use it hasn't yellowed or discolored at all, which is a common complaint with clear cases from other brands.

When buying a new iPhone, most people give careful consideration to the desired color. As such, it strikes me as odd to see cases on phones that totally hide the underlying color. It's all a matter of personal taste. As for me, the choice is always a clear case that allows that carefully selected factory color to show through as Apple intended. With that said, how does this ESR Clear Case measure up to fulfilling that objective? The case fits snugly, with excellent bumpers on the corners, around the camera lenses, over and around the new plateau, and along the screen's edges for protection when placed face down. Installation of the case was easy, with all of the necessary holes and button covers aligning perfectly. Button functionality, including the Camera Control, works as it should. The ESR case places a conductive cover over the Camera Control button, as opposed to just leaving a cutout as some other cases do. A nice touch. The grip, when holding the phone, is not tacky—as with a rubberized case—but is far less slippery than the natural metal edges of the phone. Overall, the case has a thick and sturdy feel. I’ve not had it long enough to assess the “anti-yellowing” claim, but so far, no issues. The feel of the case seems quite durable and protective. MY COMPLAINT: My one complaint is with the transparency of this "clear" case. Viewed closely, the inner surface has a tiny pattern of dots throughout. Research suggests that this pattern of microdots acts as spacers, allowing airflow and breaking up contact points to avoid air pockets or full-surface contact, which makes it appear as if moisture, oil, or bubbles are trapped between the case and phone. The dots may be functional for their intended purpose, but in doing so, they create an undesired side effect. Specifically, they dull the natural color of the phone, appearing more Creamsicle than "Cosmic Orange." Not sure this comes across well in the attached photos. Also, I have attempted to show the dot pattern in a close-up photo. CONCLUSION: The fit, function, protection, and quality of the case are excellent. The muted colors—due to the dot pattern—are my only complaint. When browsing for other cases, there is no way to be sure whether they will likewise have the dots or not. Regardless, I have yet to find an alternative clear case that matches the protection level of the ESR case. The “Cover Guard”—a protective edge around and over the new plateau—is a great feature, providing an extra degree of protection for the underlying anodized surface rather than just a bumper around it. Bottom line: I highly recommend the ESR Clear Case so long as you make the purchase fully aware of the micro-dot pattern and the way in which it alters the underlying color on your phone.
