This little device will save time and frustration when transferring markings from a pattern to fabric. Instead of cutting around those irritating pattern notches, simply clip with these notchers. I have used them successfully on cotton, wool and silks. They consistently cut cleaning and remove a tiny portion of the seam allowance. My only regret is not buying them sooner!

Bought set of 2 so I could share with a sewing buddy. We both love this tool as it makes pattern marking a breeze. Easy to use, not hard on the hands, sharp.

Excellent for working patterns Build quality

I started sewing about a year ago after many years of not sewing-I was taught to ‘make mountains’ for notches-that way you don’t lose any seam allowance in case there’s a problem, etc. When I saw these notch tools I had to try them though because 1) making mountains is hard 2) they are often uneven (so not very helpful) and 3) I’m a grown up and I just wanted to lol. I’m so glad I took the leap and bought these-they make such beautiful and even notches I no longer dread ‘making mountains’ and other markings for my sewing projects. I highly recommend these-they make just the tiniest of clips-and you can do both pieces at the same time for most fabrics.

These knippers do a great job for notching the center point and other alignment markings I bought a couple of them , one leather and a one for fabric project.

I try not to overdo it with sewing tools, but I love this one! Cutting notches out of patterns is usually annoying and imprecise, but these little tools like me do it in a pinch. I really like them! They cut easily and precisely and I don't have to fuss with trying to make an exact triangle.

For the Price, it's amazing that you're able to get two products! Makes easy notches in pattern paper and & Oak tag for your slopers. The notches are a little big for me personally (width-wise, not length-wise). BUT, overall worth the buy! Even the shipping was easy. Though, was emailed saying it was going to be late, but came on the exact time as expected. so wasn't an issue.

This would work perfectly for those who create their own patterns.
