4.5'' G10 Bolt Action Pen

Wasn't sure what to expect at this price point but I am very pleased with this pen! After opening kind of a basic but well done branded box removing the tissue paper I was greeted with a beautifully-made, G10, bolt- action pen. This pen has a very nice weight to it. Some of the other reviews said it came with an extra ink cartridge, but mine didn’t. It also came with 2 extra caps: one stylus cap and one solid cap. The pen is masterfully done with high quality materials and very comfortable. If you are looking for a well made, durable bolt action pen look no further.

The presentation was completely unexpected as most purchases from Amazon are delivered in a plastic bag of some sort so when I saw the really cool designer box that was sealed with the Cool Hand logo that peaked my interest even further. Upon opening the box I saw some black designer tissue paper with the Cool Hand logo which was expertly done. After removing the tissue paper I was greeted with an extremely well made and weighty bolt action pen complete with an extra ink cartridge and three extra stylus points in varying colors. The pen is masterfully done with high quality materials and the function rivals many of the $100+ bolt action pens I've handled. If you are looking for a well made, durable bolt action pen look no further. I'm ordering 10 more for gifts right now!

This pen feels very good in the hand. I wasn't a big fan of the insert that came with the pen, it kept ripping through paper.

This is a nice looking pen. The bolt action works well. The ink, Schmidt P900, is okay. I replaced with a P9000 which is exponentially better. It’s only five inches long which is on the smaller side. Because it is shorter, it may be an issue for those with larger hands. Also, the clip and bolt action mechanism can get in the way when holding the pen. The clip is very tight and hard to actually use. If you can get it to work it’s then difficult to take the pen out of a pocket and it can rip or destroy fabric. It comes with multiple replacements rubber tips for use on a device. The tips work on apple products.

Impressive writing utensil. The bolt-action mechanism is smooth and satisfying, and the ergonomic grip with finger grooves makes it incredibly comfortable to hold. With its durable build and functional stylus tip, this is an excellent choice for a stylish and reliable everyday carry pen.

I’m a warehouse receiver who has to use a touchscreen zebra scanner all day, along with constantly signing documents and taking notes. I needed something strong enough to handle every day, full time use at work but that I also could confidently carry the rest of the time too as a quality EDC. To be honest, this pen exceeded my expectations in many ways. I love the bolt action mechanism that is elegant in its simplicity, for practical use (and also satisfyingly fidget friendly btw!) It writes well, and lasts longer than so many other pens I have tried, but also fits refills from most of the other big name ink brands if you are afraid to commit haha (I love fisher space pen ink those refills fit perfectly in this pen). Also the ergonomic design of the body means that not only is it strong, but is even more comfortable to hold than I thought. Definitely worth the money

Edit: As of 6/18/25 the screw broke on the clip, and It will no longer stay in my pocket as the clip can now flip around upside down. Such a let down, the pen is so comfortable and writes really good, but not including spare spacers and screws is annoying. So basically it's now a house pen. Absolutely love this pen! I carry it at work every single day as an EDC pen, I use it many times a day..Ink cartridge is great, smooth writing, bolt action is smooth, stays secure when not in use.. Functional, and stylish! Best of both worlds! My only "con" is the pocket clip isn't designed the greatest so it moves from side to side..Had to get a torx and tighten it down as tight as I could. Other than that, a great EDC pen!

Buen bolígrafo, ligero, práctico y de buen material me agrada que vienen varios colores pienso adquirirlos todos, un poco elevado el precio pero espero que lo valga, con el tiempoe daré cuenta, no le.gusto el detalle de la tinta china pero no es problema

Un boligrafo muy bonito y de buena calidad, el mecanismo funciona muy bien y el tamaño es perfecto para el EDC. Sin duda comprare otro boligrafo de la marca.
