Affordable and usable way to do Phone VR.
The best way to adjust this is to loosen it entirely with the phone in. Then while looking straight down, tighten the straps so that the pads just touch the face. Over time the nose cutout makes contact with the nose which is a reminder to grab the strap in the back and readjust. I didn't do any games/iVRy; it was used with an old Moto G Fast and the Playa application for videos. The screen push button works well enough for interacting without a controller. This device is significantly better than the Viewmaster variant in both lenses, usability, and comfort. The front plate has a cutout to attach wired headphones/power bank and the phone sits on a shelf that allows easy installation and removal. Phone VR is still bad: low resolution screens paired with a slowly drifting gyroscope isn't a great experience. This headset adapter is a great way to see what least viable product VR is.

Cheap - perfect for select group of people.
First and foremost, it came with bright yellow sticker that advertised their QR code. It was really hard to take off. I had to use rubbing alcohol. Secondly, the focus is very limited. Adjusting the focus all the way to the max setting was just enough to have things be a little blurry. I literally had to take my phone out and hold it like a centimeter back for it to focus properly. This is one of those products that are cheap and should do the job. However, this did not work for me.

Great VR headset at a great price (even comes with a nice carrying case)
Great VR headset at a great price (even comes with a nice carrying case). I've tried a few before and found them to be flimsy, but this headset is sturdy while still being comfortable to wear. It was easy to insert my phone and set up, and I was enjoying VR content in minutes. Would definitely recommend!

Okay, but uncomfortable and difficult to get correct
I wasn't expecting much because it's not a big name product, and I have no experience with VR, but I was kind of disappointed. The product generally works if you tweak it correctly, but I just couldn't wear it very long. Maybe it's my face, but I couldn't get comfortable with this on, it would leave a deep mark on my nose and cause pain after only a few minutes of wear. There is no QR code to scan or instructions in the box to get the right settings, Almost everything had wrong aspect ratio because I was asked to choose a "brand name" headset and this was never in the list. As a result, everything looked vertically compressed, telling me I didn't have the right settings. The only thing that looked normal was YouTube 180VR videos. The manual lens adjusting helped me get a good clear picture, but it frequently shifts with usage and needs readjusting.

VR first time user. Not for kids.
I like that it works like a VR. You see things in VR. Some Vr videos quality work better than others. Therefore, it is like you have to know the product and your quality of the video you are watching. Not all vr video are high quality. The head band to the headset was pretty tight. I dont think you can adjust it. The headset adjustment of the lens is something else. Each time you watch a new VR vid, you will most likely need to do some adjustment. How long of usage? I would say No more than 30 min. Longer than that could do some strain on the eyes. when you pop the open to put in and set your phone, this will be manually done at all time. Which means, if the phone is not placed correctly, your visual get blurred or some hick ups come along. Which also means, you would have to reset and place the phone in a better position all over again until you agree on the visual. I like it but i would not recommend it for a kid's gift. I was hoping to get for my children. But I realize a child will not be able to determine if what they see is in good quality for their eyes. They might just see a lot of blur. Your visual and theirs are not the same. Adjustment to the headset is most important for any VR video. In short, this is not a toy. This is not an a user friendly children product.

Picture is not clear
This was bought for a child, and the price was reasonable and we would not expect the quality and clarity of VR goggles in the $ 1000 range. However these are truly blurry, and the adjustments do not help. When we contacted customer service they replied remove the protective film, adjust to your eyes and if still blurry just return them. Since it was a Christmas present it was disappointing that they are so bad...

Nice, Robust, Comes with a Touch Button
I liked this headset. It is nice and robust. The feature I like the most is the touch button (on the bottom-right of the headset). This allows to interact with the VR app/video you are viewing without the need of a remote control. Also I applaud the fact that the front case/lid is removable, because it allows for the phone's camera to view frontwards unobstructed, making this headset not only VR, but also ready for AR.

1-8 year old sub-vr/ maybe older
So this is a great product for little ones because your more in control of what your child watches on it. So saying that it's very easy to go to youtube.com and go to vr movies eith your cellphone and have hrs of quiet time โฒ๏ธ because they assume they have a real vr.... watching them enjoy the movies they may even fall asleep on it.... I had to ask mine are you still watching there reply yes with ๐ enjoyment.

Not great
Awkward positioning. Bought this as a replacement for my samsung gear vr's moon player which started asking for too many updates and creating profiles. Watching a video in this is too inconvenient

Great quality, and affordable!
The headset is great! Works good, feels solid, materials do not feel cheaply assembled. The three focus knobs for the lens are precise enough, though I have had some issues with the bottom "select" button, but that could be the fault of the app I use for playing my VR media. Comfortable as well. I hope these VR goggles last. Worth the $40 CDN.๐

Can not control phone.
Can not control my phone or the app when phone is in the headset so you have to start the video and as it's running load the phone into the headset and then put it on. The built in button just touches the screen but does not align with any actual on screen controls. So awkward to use. Visual is ok. Barely enough adjustment to make it viewable.
