Bought 6 of these Tiles for family at Christmas, It was great to see that although each paired with different phones they did not interfere with other phones. These devises have a function that uses Bluetooth to call the misplaced phone through Bluetooth, however when they are pressed, they will not set off any other phone that is paired to another tile, but will only call the phone that the unit is paired with. They also have a function to tell you where your keys or Tile are when they are within 50 meters range, or alternatively if they are out of range, they will tell you where the Tile was when it was last in range. The battery is non replaceable but that it has a 3-year battery life. The installation of the Tile onto the phone is simple, just by scanning a QR code on the box, and then following the instructions on the screen to install the App onto your device and pairing it. The process took less than 5 mins from start to finish. It is excellent value for money and I would highly recommend the device.

My Samsung Tile Mates have been a real lifesaver, or should I say key-saver, in our household. The days of playing hide-and-seek with keys, usually tucked away in a coat pocket or hiding in a handbag (or just generally drop-kicked down the hallway), are long gone. These little trackers have allowed us to avoid a lot stress, especially when time is of the essence and the keys decide to go on an adventure. The range on these tiles is impressive. Whether the keys are playing hide-and-seek under a cushion or chilling in another room, finding them is now as easy as following the beep. It's like having a homing device. One of our tiles (and it's respective garage door key) went on a real journey, ending up a mile away from home! Thanks to the app, we got a general idea of its location on the map. Now, this is where it gets interesting. Someone found it and scanned it, but alas, there was no way to communicate with this kind-hearted soul, but I did immediately update the found message with my number... which they either saw or never rang. The Tile then turned into a mini travel blogger, moving from one place to another, until its final destination – a bin. Yes, I had to rummage through trash to rescue it, like a weird treasure hunt. So, while the Samsung Tile Mate is a fantastic tool for keeping track of your belongings, it could use a feature to communicate with the person who finds your lost item when they scan it. It would save the hassle of playing detective and, in my case, the indignity of bin diving. Nonetheless, it's a nifty little device that has brought more peace and less chaos to our lives.

I have ADHD, I am constantly putting things down and forgetting where on earth I put it. The number of latenesses cause by my being unable to find my keys are now vastly reduced. The app is easy to set up and pairing the tags couldn’t be easier. They’re loud enough to be heard from a couple of rooms away although they struggle a bit if they’re in a bag or in a pile of clothes (which they often are.) This older model feels sturdier than the the newer models (I have so many of these now) I love the little map function which is mostly accurate but has sort of a rough 5m-10m radius rather than pin point accuracy. I have discovered the Bluetooth connection will not work if they’ve been sat on by a human or a pet - that cat held my car keys hostage for half an hour once!

This is a lifesaver for my partner. He is always losing his keys and so this has been so helpful to him. It’s looks good and is discreet. It was easy for him to set up and it’s easy for him to use via his phone. We haven’t had any issues with the connectivity either. Would definitely recommend and I need to get one myself.

Must have. I use it all the time. I don't even look for my keys any more I just ring them. The pro is better than the smaller mate. Battery life is about 1 year on the pro and you can change it. Works with life 360 and tile app. Get a silicone case cover. I only use the pro now.

Don't judge lol, I drove to my destination and then realised my bunch of keys were not in the car... in a flap I had left them on my roof! My Tile app told me they were on the dual carriageway (3 miles from where I started). I used the "Notify when found" function and received several pings over the next twelve hours showing them to be in roughly the same place still. (This function worked by having any other Tile app user's phone anonymously let me know the location as they passed by and their Bluetooth recognized it...needless to say the fact that that managed to happen with traffic doing 70mph is incredible! ) After a safe walk along the edge of the dual carriageway, my own phone connected to it when I got close and I was able to see them by the central barrier! Amazing help from some lovely police officers later and keys retrieved...HUNDREDS saved in not having to replace the car key never mind all of the house keys. AMAZING! I am buying more

Purchased this at it was on a deal and I had lost my nut tracker (the irony). Unlike the nut you can not use this as a Bluetooth tether unless you pay for a subscription. Highly annoying as I wanted to use it to alert me when my youngest wanders off. The battery cannot be accessed/replaced without destroying the case which makes it a throw away unit. To summarise; it works, limited functionality unless you pay for a subscription and it's a bin job once the battery dies. There are much better value units on the market so I wouldn't recommend these or buy again.

Excellent key finder. Easy to hear from far away. Indispensable for finding keys or using Tile to find phone. Tile app allows finding multiple keys using multiple Tiles - easy to activate and use individual keys in the app. Battery lasts for years. Highly recommended.
