I don’t think that’s necessary. I’ve never had any problem with them. A touch of wd40 would probably be enough if they become a problem.

Does this have a shelf life? Or can it be stored for years and still be fine? (planning to buy a few bottles)

My understanding is it lasts forever as long as you keep it away from moisture. It suggests using it every 6 months and the bottle is huge. I assume it doesnt perish because it is literally graphite powder in a bottle. There is no info on the back of the packet about how to store. My order came in a ziplock bag so Im keeping it in the bag to prevent moisture.

Is this safe to use in a van's sticking ignition? Or will it mess with the electronics? Thanks

I do not definitely know but as it is made with graphite powder I would be quite worried that it may damage the ignition
