can this product be used as a sun block?

Yes, but plain zinc oxide will sit very heavy on the skin. Remember the old photos of life guards with the big patch of white on their nose? The white is zinc oxide ointment but it is more a physical sun block than a chemical one.

When is the expiration dates on the ointment?

I bought mine sometimes in Summer 2018 and the expiration is 02/21. I use is 2 times a day on a 95 years old person to prevent pressure users, very satisfied with the result. The cream has great healing properties.

Where is this manufactured?

It states it right on the jar itself, MI. Gives you a detailed address and it works great.

can this be used as suncreen? i have whit /pink face horse its getting sun burned ans everthing else comes off.

I can't say that I have used it as a sunscreen before, but I would definitely try it. It does do a thorough job as a diaper cream and it works well at helping dry and cracked skin during the winter time.
