I picked this up for the bar I manage when we noticed people were ordering a lot of Moscow mules. I hated the waste that came along with not using an entire can of ginger beer and our fountain drink capacity is limited. I initially looked at bottled ginger beer syrups which I found to be prohibitively expensive. I decided to give this a shot since the reviews were good as was the price. This syrup ended up exceeding my expectations. Using the suggested portioning (1 oz per 12 oz of soda water) results in a tasty and mildly spicy ginger ale. Upping the concentration (I used 1 oz per 8 oz of soda water), gives you a spicy, yet not overpowering ginger “beer”. I personally do not like most ginger beers, so I appreciated the flexibility the syrup gives you. I have had several customers ask what is different about our mules because they taste so much better than others they have had and this syrup is the answer. When you’re using it in this way, the bottle lasts a pretty long time. I have used it in recipes I have created for my bar with equally positive results. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and now we make sure we always have an extra bottle or two on hand so we don’t run out.

I enjoy a sharp ginger ale, not the overly sweet candy like big name store ginger ale. I do like the expensive ginger ale in green bottles, but at almost $10.00 for four bottles, I just can’t waste money on that luxury. I bought this syrup and a soda water maker. Wow! This syrup makes the expensive spicy ginger ale in bottles taste weak. I really like this syrup! Add a couple mils of tincture and you will be totally pleased. With or without tincture, this syrup is worth its weight in gold. I highly recommend it to ginger ale or beer enthusiasts. You will not be disappointed.

I love ginger ale and have been adding this to lemonade and other flavors of water to add a bit of a spicy kick. It's a nicely authentic ginger taste and doesn't add too much extra sweetness to a drink.

This is quite good! I mix it with carbonated water to make a spicy ginger soft drink. But the price has gone from under $8 a bottle to almost $18 a bottle. Nope, not gonna buy it!

If you have a soda carbonation machine, and you like premium Ginger Ale, you need to get this syrup. I have never liked most American Ginger Ales, as they are basically sugar water. However, I LOVE British Ginger Ale, and on this side of the pond, only one rather pricey Ginger Ale ever comes close. (Hint: Initials are FT.) I bought this product hoping to approximate British Ginger Ale at a lower price. This syrup ROCKS! I add 3-4 pumps to about 18 ounces of carbonated water, and it makes a nice spicy drink that is NOT that sugar water I dislike. It was worth getting that carbonator just so I could discover this syrup. I have a new favorite drink, thanks to DaVinci Gourmet Spicy Ginger Syrup. I can make liters of a great Ginger Ale for less than the price of a 4 pack of that premium brand. If you are a fan of GOOD Ginger Ale, you need to try this stuff!

This is a really nice ginger ale when mixed with soda stream. Good taste and good spicy level. If you like ginger ale, this is a good combination
