Very flexible and did the job. Excellent tool for perforating holes in a small in-ground pond liner to turn it into a flower bed instead.

This was the perfect tool for the job! It worked even better than I had expected!

I used this last weekend to drill some holes to run Ethernet cable through my walls. Now, this drill bit did what it is supposed to do. It drilled through the floor behind my wall so I could run the Ethernet down into the wall below. The bit itself was sharp and bit enough for me to get the whole started without too much trouble. The issue I had (and I'll admit, this may be more an issue with my drill or myself) is that trying to get the bit to back out through the holes it made was problematic. One thing I noticed was that the part of this bit that you put in the drill chuck is quite smooth. I had to really tighten my drill around it to prevent it from slipping when I was trying to back it out through the holes. It took me about 15 minutes of tightening and retightening my drill on this bit and wiggling it around in reverse before it came out. There was a brief moment in time where I thought I was going to just have to push the bit through the hole and leave it in my wall. So when it's all said and done, this bit performed its job and I was able to complete my task. Just want to point out that the finish on this thing is smooth and may cause problems.

I have never used a flex bit before and I was very happy with this product. I used this, as well as a placement tool, in a project to run ethernet and coaxial lines. This was the perfect length for me, as I was drilling in the wall from the main level into the basement. Therefore, the shorter length of 36" was attractive to me. I didn't want the extra 1.5 or 3 feet of length added to the bit. It has held up well for the project and I have had no slippage issues with the chuck on either my corded or cordless drill.

I had a fireblock in my wall between my TV and my media units down below. I was hoping to use this to drill through the fireblock but it didn't work perfectly. "Flexible" isn't a word I would use to describe this 36" bit. Its long and metal, so naturally it's going to have a small bit of deflection flex in it, but it wasn't flexible enough for me to enter through a low voltage junction box and drill through a traditional 2x4 fireblock down 18". The bit naturally wanted to go to the opposite side of the wall cavity, to try to combat that I tried to put a cardboard spacer taped to the end, use a prewar from the top, but nothing worked and I ended up drill through the fireblock and into and through the closet in the bedroom behind my living room tv. Not a big deal, I added another low voltage box there with a solid faceplate to cover the damage. I was hoping this bit would allow me to do what I was attempting without damaging the other side of the wall. Basically this is just a 36" drill bit that goes through wood very well.

Bought because I needed to run some Cat6 between floors but wanted to minimize the number of cuts I wanted to do in drywall. This guy did it's job - a nice clean hole through decking and truss joists. The feed point on it works great for your typical pine framing - grabs and feeds at a good rate. Just let it do it's thing from there!

The head broke off (detached, rather) from the shaft on only the third hole I drilled and is now stuck in my attic. The bond between the head and shaft ironically can't handle much torque. I saw other reviews of it breaking and took a chance anyway, but no dice. By chance it broke on the day before my return window closed, but I spent nearly 45 minutes with customer support trying to explain that I don't have any return boxes large enough and it doesn't make sense to return a huge box with a thin metal rod in it. After one rep who chose to ignore me rather than understand the issue (and I was being very polite because I'm sure the job sucks), I did finally get someone who understood and got a return waiver. I would recommend buying such an item locally so that returns aren't a hassle. I'm not getting a replacement of this and will try my luck with a different brand I can purchase locally.

I’ve used this bit on one job so far. Drilled about 8 holes through some ceiling joists. It is sharp, has a good amount of flex, but also sturdy. Made in the USA, which is always a good thing to see

I was expecting the bend on this to be a bit more flexible, but its just enough to get into a stud wall, through a single pattress box size opening. Used a couple of times now, wish i'd bought the slightly larger diameter, as i'd done the rough sizing calculation in my head.

I bought this because I use a fish bit at work and needed one for home. It is very good quality but the shaft is not flexible as it should be. I bought it to drill at a 90 Deg in walls. It works great as an extension as it is rigid and well made. It’s not a cheap Offshore replica.

Much less bendy than expected, it’s pretty much solid just long with only a few mm of flex

I was expecting it to be more flexible but not It just cost to much

Used as needed to fit some extra lights and have a older house. That's means beams and drywall is lower so no empty space. Uses this to get and angle to drill through the beam. Has some bend. But personally would want more of a bend
