Works great - battery lasts a good while. Kept my minnows alive all day, which was good because the fish weren't biting.

If anybody gets theirs and don't have the hose and stone, its inside the aerator battery compartment. I thought I was missing it until I read the little note on the side of the aerator. A great item and is great for holding all bait. It won't fit in the boat but we can keep it at home with all of the bait in it and take out a couple scoops at a time and put it in a smaller one of this brand that we have.

This bucket worked perfectly to transport my tetras across the states. Kept my fish alive and well for over 4 hours.

Great insulated bait-well. This is my second one. Keeps my bait alive for over a full day (1-2 days changing water). I'm sure that varies depending upon conditions. Problem I had with the first one was the plastic hinge for the lid. The tongs broke and the lid would slip off. That's why a 4 rating. Used a piece of duct tape on the hinge to fix the problem. Worked perfect. Had it and used it for 7+ years. Gave that one to a friend. Got me a new one. Recommend it.

We have been talking about getting a 5 gallon bucket/bubbler for a while and were looking for one that was more quiet than the one we had previously that we kept having to replace. After looking at the reviews on this bucket/bubbler, we decided to give this one a try and are SO happy with it. It is SO much more quiet than the other brand we had used and provides SO much more oxygen that it kept our shrimp alive for a 2-3 days rather than less than 24 hours. Well worth the investment.

I got 2 of these now and I also have the magnum 7 1/2 gallon bait cooler, I also have the regular size Frabill minnow bucket. My landing net is Frabill. The best part is the insulation and not worrying about overheated bait. Got lazy and used the bucket as a live well for 5 crappie. Didn't feel like cleaning them so I used the Frabill bucket until I got them home and put them in my big at home tank and cleaned them the next morning. I like the bucket because it takes less room on the boat than the cooler but there are days when I take both.

I got this to move my goldfish from one house to another in wish during the subzero winter. It served its purpose and two large goldfish fit comfortably inside. However the air stone went from not working, to, after intense scubbing under running water, letting out one tiny stream if air bubbles. Air stones are cheap and this was expensive, and so think there should be more than one in the package. When you need one, you really need one, and I was expecting the brand new one to work so I was caught empty handed. I suspect if this were a longer move with less hardy fish we might not have been so successful. If you are buying this for fish you care about, order batteries and extra air stones along with.

Highly disappointed as the bait bucket is not insulated as advertised. For the price you would think it would include air tubes and an air stone, which was not included. Total rip off.
