Good product as long as you have the correct expectations
It is small and the power matches size. I use it to pick up dust and similar stuf after sawing or similar tasks. Probably with a different filter type you could get better power.

Great for small jobs.
In two months of use for little cleanups in small areas, I have not been disappointed with its suction. I’ve used it to clean up crumbs after snacking on the couch and under the dining table. In the shop, it picked up dust and small debris with no problem. For areas bigger than 5 to 10 square feet, I get out the AC shopvac. I've used it for a quick cleanup in the car and truck; they'll still need an occasional thorough cleaning with the big AC vac. With the crevasse tool off, the opening is about 5/8 inch by 2 ½ inches; it will pick up anything smaller than a full-size (popped) popcorn kernel, and lighter than a #10 flat washer. Unpopped corn kernels aren’t too heavy for it. It can clean up the entry mat; if a piece of debris sticks in the fabric of the mat, putting the crevasse tool on increases suction and usually picks it up. When opening it up to empty the debris, the filter at first looks like a problem; the folds are tight and fine dirt remains in there, but I have not taken extreme measures to get all the dirt out of the folds, and that so far (2 months) hasn’t reduced the suction noticeably.

Great Quality / A bit Pricey
Although this vacuum does what its supposed to do, it is no better than other more inexpensive units (like Ryobi, Craftsman, Milwaukee, etc.). I took a star away for the price but I assume there are likely tariff and build quality reasons for its higher price. However I have never been disappointed with my Bosch tools. They are compact, rugged, and easy to use. This is no different and it is the smallest, good workshop vacuum I have. I've purchased Chinese units much smaller and far cheaper, but they are crap compared to this unit. If you can spend the money, AND you already have the batteries, this is a great tool you will be happy with.

you want this
If you have Bosch 12v tools, you want this vacuum. Sturdy, picks up well. Not the most powerful... what do you expect for 12v?...Binford 9000 Powermaster power? Not gonna happen its not turbo boosted. But for everyday small to medium messes, this will easily do it. You will like this... FAR better than the Walmart rechargeable portable vacuums

Weak suction
The vacuum is very handy, good use for small particles to vacuum. The vacuum is weak, get another brand if you will be vacuuming larger particles. This vacuum is hard to use on a carpet on your car because of the weakness of the suction. Only good for bare floors or flat surfaces.

It doesn't suck
This vacuum feels like the product manager told the lead engineer "Don't make it suck!" It's way too weak for any real use, certainly any use in an environment where pricey Bosch batteries are lying around anyhow, i.e., workshops. The intended use case remains a riddle. Maybe a housewife who spilled a tiny amount of flour could take it up with this, as long as it's from a firm surface and not a carpet, but would said housewife really go for a manly Bosch-branded vacuum, find one of the precious batteries (not included), and slowly go to work instead of just using a moist paper towel? With the included nozzle attachment, suction power goes from merely symbolic not non-existent, and all of that is with a brand new filter, thus bound to get worse. Returned.

Very good small vacuum for Bosch’s 12v Platform
I use this to gather dust after drilling. More powerful than most small dust vacuums I’ve used. I would recommend to pair it with a 4ah to get good continued performance. My main kit to work is Bosch’s 12v, so this gives me a great little lightweight vacuum that hangs on hangs on my tool bag. It’s certainly not a shop vac, but fits well in the right kit.

Parts that are designed to be disposed of should either last a long time or be cheap.
I'm sorry I bought this Bosch product and I've never had to say that before. I have several other Bosch 12V tools and some plug in ones too and they've all been great but this vacuum is a baffling fail. It's not because it isn't a decent vacuum -- it's fine -- but because the filters are un-washable, difficult to impossible to clean properly and cost $12 each! In fact, Bosch recommends you change them every time you fill the tiny dirt cup. At $12 per! Maybe, if you're a contractor and 10 or 12 of them is just a small line item in a big bid, that might fly but if, like me, you're just an individual who wants to do what people do with hand vacs around the house and shop and thought it would be a good idea to buy one that uses the same batteries your tools do it's going to be a shock when you realize you're meant by Bosch to have to spend 1/2 or more of the original purchase price of the vacuum per year on a replacement part that should have been washable and reusable in the first place. Not to mention the environmental stupidity of tossing out a big hunk of plastic every time you've vacuumed up 4 or 5 cubic inches of whatever. Every hand vac I've owned has used a washable filter element. Shop vacs too. Vacuums with disposable filter elements use cheap filter bags. So now I'm going to have to cobble something together that filters and is washable -- no doubt using elements from some other vacuum. I didn't see this coming. Just brain dead Bosch.

Here's the deal, pay a fortune for vacuums over the years when the batteries die or pay a little extra for something with a rechargeable, REPLACEABLE, battery. I chose Bosch because I have the 12 volt drill and driver set that I got for a really good price, absolutely amazed by them btw. I'm very happy with all of it to be honest. The vacuum is small, easy to handle, good suction, easy to clean, and I'll be able to get batteries for it for at least a decade. You can also get knock off batteries for cheap!

It's a tiny handheld dust buster. The suction is impressive. It chews through batteries faster than any other of my tools in the 12V Bosch series but is is just for spot cleaning and not sustained use. It's great for little piles of dust and tight spaces. I do wish it had an attachment with some bristles which would make it better for cleaning car interiors.

Esta excelente y a muy buen precio, obviamente hay que tener las baterias para que pueda ser usada, pero ya la probe y tiene una potencia decente, BOSCH como siempre mi marca favorita y nunca decepciona.
