I needed a kennel for my lab puppy and since I had a similar kennel in the past, I went with this one. I'm very glad I did. This kennel was everything that I expected and more. Some of the good points: - Very sturdy. Will hold up with no problem as the puppy grows into adulthood - Easy assembly. It took about 5 minutes to fully assemble the kennel. My previous kennel had knurled nuts to screw in that were sometimes hard to tighten down. This kennel has nuts designed to be easily tightened using just your fingers. This kennel even came with several extra fasteners that I stored away in case the original ones have problems. - This kennel includes reinforced areas on the side with molded handles and reinforced holes on the corners for tie-downs. The handles are a great feature. The tie-down areas are perfect to secure the kennel if you are going to transport a large / active animal in a vehicle. Neither of these features were listed in the product description, nor am I used to seeing these features on kennels of this type / price range. - The size of this kennel is perfect for a large / growing animal, however, be sure that you have plenty of room in your house dedicated for this kennel because it is huge. If I get another dog, I will be ordering this same kennel again.

I bought this crate for shipping my 70lb Malamute/Shepherd from Seattle to Hawaii. It worked perfectly, got him to me safe and sound, and turns out to be a great on-the-go carrier as well. In researching carriers I decided to go with a bigger than necessary carrier as my dog is fluffy and tall. This way he would pass muster at the airport. The carrier was delivered timely and without a problem. It was even easily assembled by my not quite mechanically inclined father. The carrier is solidly molded plastic with metal screws and plastic nuts that hold the two halves together. There are two screws at the door (one on each side), three along each side, and two in the back. The screws also have a square neck at their base allowing them to 'lock' into the bottom half of the carrier and not unscrew themselves in transit. There are full panels of large vents on all three sides (*back included*) on the top half of the carrier. I went with this style mainly because my dog is a bit of an escape artist and I read reviews of the other 'set-in' wire vents being popped out. It is also one of the few large carriers that has venting in the back to be IATA compliant. The door is a simple squeeze type lock, that rotates on a single stationary rod. The metal rods protrude into small molded cavities for each contact point (not just a hole) making it nice and secure. There are also pre-drilled zip-tie holes to even more securely lock the door. They even got these right putting one hole on each side at the top corners of the door, one on each side on the bottom corners of the door, and one on each side in the middle of the door sides and staggered it so one side zips to the top half of the carrier, and the other zips to the bottom half. They also have pre-drilled airplane tie down holes in the corners of the lip where two halves meet. The bottom of the carrier has a raised center area creating an approximately 2 inch border "moat" around the outer edge of the crate bottom that helps pool any fluids away from the dog should they be unable to control themselves on the scary flight. It does not come with a carry handle on the top of the carrier (it's too heavy to carry like that) but does have built in carry grips on the sides of the carrier. The camouflage color is actually subtle and not obnoxious at all. The bottom half is solid dark green. I am very pleased with the carrier and definitely recommend it for your pet transport needs. Oh, the only down side. For travel purposes it does not come with food/water bowls, or required 'live animal' stickers. But those are easily found here on Amazon, or at your local pet store.

I took a chance a purchased a used buy like new crate. Only thing wrong with it was the bag with the bolts was opened, but everything was there. This was in perfect condition. An almost $300 retail crate for $70 is a bargain in my book. This crate is so much nicer than the one it’s replacing. Heavy, well made, nice looking camo pattern. My dog is an almost 70 lb. sheep-a-doodle. Super happy with my purchase.

Great, sturdy Kennel. I have a husky who is able to bite through the metal cage type Kennel so I wasn't sure this would keep him contained, but it's been working great.

I'm joining the military and decided to buy a shipping crate for my cat early, so he could get used to it. The boy is 23 inches, head to the base of his tail, so I needed something larger than the standard 25" cat carriers. This 32" looked to be the best price ($80 at the time), along with the brand having a lot of good reviews. The thing is huge. I imagine most small to mid-size dogs would be perfectly comfortable, and I know my cat will be just fine. Super-easy assembly. I wanted to leave the door off so he could just go in and out, so I didn't bother bolting the sides (since I'd have to undo all of them to put the door back on). It's just sitting next to our couch, serving as an impromptu side table. Not sure I'd trust it to take my weight, if I sat on it, but it seems plenty sturdy for its purpose. Cut-out ventilation looks nice and gives it an extra sense of security compared to attached grills. Shame it has nowhere to grip it other than the sides--will be a bit awkward for one person to carry, with an animal inside.

I have a 10 pound cat that absolutely HATES getting into a carrier. he fights me every single time, and I discovered that it was because his other carriers have all been 19 or 22 inches long. he isn’t very tall, but damn does he have a long body.. he couldn’t fit comfortably in his other ones LOL. anyways, it was really hard to find a carrier 24 or 26 inches at a good price NOT well over $50. this was the best option for me, price wise and quality wise. for $30 you get a good sized carrier, and really easy assembly instructions. i purchased a crate pad for the bottom of it separately and now my baby won’t get out… he thinks it’s his new bed!!! I will make an update review when I use it at his vet visit 5 days from now. until then, if you’ve had doubts about purchasing this carrier… DO IT!!! so far in my trail run, my kitty loves it!!!! *UPDATE 11/26* I have used this carrier for my 10 lb cat, and my 6 lb cat as well. it looked like the Escalade of cat carriers for the 6lb kitty LOL! She also hates the carrier, and getting her n and out of this one is a breeze, she even walks in on her own accord (for Turkey ofc)

One star is too much! Corners broke first time using. Also around the door broke. The door fell off. Customer service is nonexistent.

Great kennel for the price. We are only planning on using this in our home and not for transport. If I were to want it for transport (plane or truck) I would buy something more sturdy. Those will run you $500+ so we are extremely happy with this one. It’s easy to put together, stable, and works for our puppy. The color also looks nice and is not an eyesore in our living room. Happy with this kennel overall.

Light in weight and strong material

Is not shipped in a box. Was dusty on arrival and some very light wear and tear. A new item, but not shiny brand new... Good quality. Sturdy. Perfect to transport my 70 lb dog to Germany. He loves this crate - just enough room for him to stand and turn around. We were also able to fit it into our rental car (dismantled) - a Toyota Auris.
