Solid and Snappy.
Inexpensive and high quality. Standard installation so no "guess work" on wiring and the operation is nice and smooth with firm "clicks" into position. If you need a replacement 5-way? Don't get the PCB switches, get this instead.

Installed in 1984 Squier Stratocaster And Worked Great
I've read that a lot of the Stratocaster parts are interchangeable with the Squier Strats. I'm restoring my childhood guitar that sat behind a dresser for the last 20 years. I needed a switch and decided to try this. It's a completely different switch from the one that was in my guitar but I expected that. It did fit with no problems. Holes lined up. Looks great. The wiring pattern was different so I did have to search out a wiring diagram online for this style switch. I did a search for it and found a diagram for this particular style of selector switch. With a little soldering and rerouting the wires this worked out great and my guitar sounds awesome again. The switch is much better quality than what was in the Squier. I tried it first without a diagram but got it wrong and had to do it over. With the right diagram it's easy peasy and will make your Squier scream! I'm really happy with this choice.

fender switch, works perfectly
rotary style switch which i think made for stratocaster, but i'm going to use for my tele, to add all the different wiring techniques to get as many sounds of of this instrument as possible. This is a genuine fender part so quality was perfect.

It's a quality Fender 5 way switch replacing broken switch on Ibanez Strat
The original Ibanez switch was of low quality and was actually stuck in position. Although this switch connection lugs are a different wiring layout from the original switch, a quick internet search for my guitar pickup configuration and the fender configuration allowed for a flawless wiring install. Requires some soldering skills if doing it yourself. On my installation the cavity was tight and it was shielded with foil. Lugs were touching the shielding at first and then I thought the switch was not working as wired. That was my mistake, so be sure to clear the sides of the cavity and make sure foil is not touching the switch. After I noticed them touching and moved the lugs away from the foil everything was perfect. Excellent quality and feel.

This is Made in Mexico not in USA. There was no clear info available about country of origin and if any Warranty is available in India. Despite being Brand name Fender, the switch I received is not of that great quality. It makes a lot of crackle sound thru Amplifier when it’s turned quickly, which is what you sometimes need to do. Check this video. Ignore the mechanical sound, that’s normal. Hear the crackle that comes from the amp when the switch quickly changes position. Tried a few solutions like cleaning with contact cleaner, removing static charge etc but nothing worked. Switch appears faulty to me.
