L.A. Girl PRO.coverage Liquid Foundation, Fair

I saw tons of reviews for the white when researching this foundation. However, I had been searching for a natural-looking foundation under $20 that doesn't accentuate my 39-year-old facial lines or build up in them. I have a bag full of foundations I tried recently, due to the aging of my skin and my old foundation no longer cutting it. This is my new go-to. It has done the best job (and was under $10 so I didn't mind to try it). It does not accentuate anything, such as wrinkles or pores, but smooths and covers well. It is full coverage and does surprisingly well at it, and I needed that due to age spots and blue under-eye circles. I don't have time going to work in the morning to worry about concealer as well. I needed a product like this that was one-step coverage. It can transfer a little upon touching it throughout the day, but that's my only complaint. Fair is their lightest color next to white. Lighter-toned people might need to blend it with white. I'm pretty pale, but I like the pop of color it adds and use a blush to blend it all the way down my neck-line. I also tried the porcelain color, but that is darker and for someone with heavy pink/orange tones. I would love to see a shade between white and fair with more of a creamy ivory color without the need to mix (time is everything) but until then, this is the best available for my needs, and I'm so happy to have tried it.

To preface I have been trying out some products that are not as high end as what I have been used to using. I've been feeling it's often a waste. Sooo, I decided to get this foundation after some research and I love it. I have dry skin and am middle aged. I don't have deep lines, but some laxity here and there, but nothing terrible. I have been using this for about 8 days or so after going to the store to purchase a darker shade to mix with the fair which is just a tad too light for my light to medium complexion with yellow/golden undertones. Keeps me hydrated and doesn't settle in to any of my few lax areas. I never powder and this stays luminous, but not damp on my skin. I can feel an ever so slight moist feeling if I touch my face, but not off putting nor like it is slipping around. I ended up getting Natural and use 3/4 fair mixed with 1/4th natural. When these run out I'll get the white to mix with Natural. Great price (not my usual $55.00 foundation) and really looks beautiful on the skin. Could build to a full coverage easily, but I like the decent medium coverage it gives with the first application. My co worker even commented if I was using a new foundation as she is very dry. She has purchased it here on Amazon as well and is loving it. Lastly, I've used a primer and also applied with no primer. I always use a primer, but do like this for work without and it lasts a full 9 hours on me and I work in healthcare and my days very busy and laborious! Don't think it would work well on an oily complexion.

I'm a 25 yr old woman and I have dry skin. 90% of foundations and/or concealers make my skin look crepy or flaky and textured. This la girl and the Loreal Pro Glow are great for my skin type. Also, I gave up primers and my foundation application lasts and looks much better. Don't believe the hype. The one and only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is because the shade name is so far from the truth its laughable. When I think of the word "fair" in terms of skin color, I think of my two pale little girls with freckles and pastey white skin. I watched reviews and checked many sources to see if this would match my "light" warm olive complexion. For a $10 purchase I did not set the bar high so its worth the risk for all the wonderful reviews on this product. Sadly, the La Girl in "fair" will never be worn on me without mixing. However, its longevity and application are flawless! I was able to successfully mix this foundation with my go-to Loreal Pro Glow in 202 and achieve my perfect "summer" shade. With that being said, I recently purchased the white mixer in La Girl, and it is a fabulous product for when you find a foundation too dark but it has your perfect undertones. It also works universally with other brands!! After looking at the shade selection, I have come to the conclusion that it might have been intended for the customer with fair to light skin tones to purchase both the mixer and your closest undertone match. The picture with the green shirt was after about 5 hours and sweating in the Louisiana heat. The one with me in the ivory shirt next to my husband is after about 2 hours and 75 degrees with a little rain.

No smell, one pump needed. Got it for daily wear. Dewy, but not sparkly. Thinner than the La Girl matte, but amazing coverage…covered blemish that I had irritated. Spent around 7$. I feel like La Girl always goes a bit darker than the color name suggests. I am blonde and light skinned, but not porcelain and the color Fair was great.

Good foundation for the price you pay, easy to apply, with setting powder it stays all day in place.

I really like the quality of this foundation as a whole (good coverage, lasts well throughout the day, has a pump, nice packaging), but I have some qualms: - the smell is pretty pungent; it smells like you're applying actual paint to your face - the color itself and its undertones were very orange-y... I don't see it looking quite right on anyone - I bought the shade "fair" expecting to get a shade that would at least somewhat match my FAIR skin; it turned out to be a pretty deep tan color. There is no way they should continue marketing this color as "fair". This color would be at least the 5th from the lightest shade in any other brand. I literally couldn't even wear it after mixing it with the palest shade I own, without looking like an orange clown (I did try it just to test the foundation quality itself, and my sister commented on how orange-y it looked). Thinking of purchasing a white mixer just so it's not a complete waste, but I'm pretty disappointed at this point that I can't even use it without purchasing supplementary products. - lastly, the texture is quite thick. I can deal, but it may really bother some people, so I thought I'd mention it. Overall, I'd say that it wouldn't hurt to give it a try if you're okay with the kinks and have a darker skin pigment. But it's not pale-friendly.

This is a great full coverage foundation. I did get a rash after using it, but I left it on over night 🙈 I have very very very sensitive skin so this was not a surprise at all and completely my fault. I feel like the color choices are a bit difficult, I am usually a nude beige (neutral undertone) but got fair after looking at online swatches and it matched perfectly, I would never have guessed I would need fair if I had not researched previously. Overall this is a great foundation, full coverage, light weight, and blends beautifully with foundation brush but I prefer my beauty blender sponge.

Das Make Up ist nicht teuer aber dafür kann es wirklich mit High End verglichen werden. Ich greife sogar öfters zu der als zu meine High end Foundations. Es hat kein mattes Finish, was die Haut schön gesund aussehen lässt. Die Deckkraft ist mittel bis stark (wenn man sie aufbaut). Der Versand ging auch schnell. Der einzige Minuspunkt ist aber die Farbe, denn die ist schon recht dunkel für ein Fair. Im großen und ganzen ein gutes Make Up bei der das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt.
