SO FAR SO GOOD (3k miles)
No issue after 300 miles. Looks the same as OEM. I DO NOT HAVE A FP WRENCH but I understand why people are complaining about the low oil pressure. Because you have miles and miles of thread on the filter, even if you oil it it becomes kind of hard to screw in at the very end, so some people probably QUIT turning it in PREMATURELY. If you do it by hand by me, do not stop turning because its hard! There comes a point when it just STOPS. It feels like a hard stop! When i feel the hard stop, i tug it in one more time, and leave it alone. Thats how i do the original MOPAR filters too, never had a problem.

CHOOSE ANOTHER OPTION.
I have a 2022 EcoDiesel and this filter was a nightmare. DO NOT BUY. Save yourself the headache—spend the extra few bucks on a name-brand filter at AutoZone or just go OEM. This one leaked everywhere. The O-ring was thin, poorly made…I spent way too much time diagnosing an issue that never should’ve existed.(didn’t happen right away about 1000 miles..) Bottom line: it caused more problems than it solved. Skip this filter.

Check your torque before throwing the filter away
Exact fit for a 2021 Dodge 3.5 EcoDiesel. Make sure you have a 28mm socket. This is my go-to oil filter for the EcoDiesel. The reviews on this filter are mixed, with some people reporting that they end up getting a LOW OIL PRESSURE warning after installing it. This is my 5th purchase of this filter, and the 1st time I experienced any problems with it. After installing it hand-tight and snugging it with the 28mm socket, I got the LOW OIL PRESSURE warning. When removing it I noticed that the canister states 25nm. Torque wrench in hand, I torqued it to the recommended 25nm (18.5 foot pounds), which cleared the warning with my oil pressure showing 22 psi at idle and 76 psi at 70 mph. Checking the specifications on the Gen3 filter, there is a bypass tunnel in the cap. If it is not torqued correctly, the oil flows through the bypass rather than the filter, causing the low-pressure warning.

It's working so far..
I was skeptical at first because it wasn't a genuine MOPAR product but since most of their products are made in China/South Korea. It wasn't because it was cheaper I had to really change out my oil filter since this MOPAR product was backlogged until July 2022. It's April 2022. I changed out my oil but I was still using my original filter. A week worth of driving the oil pressure was reading 50 psi during idling. So I went for this product due to desperation. I understand some people were talking about warranty this and that. I saw this as being screwed from both sides regardless. Don't change the filter and risk damaging my engine without a genuine product from MOPAR or run the risk of trying an off brand product made from a country MOPAR products are generated. Since the install, oil PSI reads 19-21 like it should. I operate a 2021 dodge ram ecodiesel. This is day 1, i will update my post after the first week and month for status update. And when I do go to the dealership as mopar products are restocked and available. I will reinstall my old filter so they won't identify an off brand product when they change it out ill just ensure i am block away before pulling in. BOOM, Warranty still VALID.
