Does this model have jacks for ext. speakers

YES! You can either plug headphones into the 3.5mm headphone jack in the front of the unit OR use the RCA jacks in the back of the unit to use external powered speakers. I own the Edifier R1280T Powered Speakers and they work beautifully with my Victrola 8 in 1. Anyone who says you can't use external speakers does not deserve to listen to music!

When playing CD's, the beginning of each song fades in, very annoying. Is there a way to turn this feature off?

I purchased this in July 2023. It just arrived today and it has this issue. Many of the CDs I listen to have tracks that flow together, and this defect makes the CDs unlistenable to me. I’m shocked that they sell a product with such a basic flaw. I was so excited for this but I’m sadly going to have to return it now. What a hassle and waste of time.

What is the USB file format and quality (bits per second) for vta-600b? e.g. mp3? wav? ogg?

If recording from Vinyl record, AUX, tape, Bluetooth, CD to USB Flash Drive, the recorded files on the USB drive will be MP3 enocoded.

Cassettes & vinyl are 2 sided. can you pause the cd recording to flip sides on them & then continue to record so that both sides are on 1 cd?

Yes you can, also it is best to pause after each song . There is a button for this. If you just let the record play through it will not recognize the individual songs. Ie looking g for track 4 on CD from album you won't be able to go directly there as there is no separation. Just takes s bit of pkanni g but worth it!
