KastKing Perigee II Fishing Rods, Spinning Rod 7ft 6in - Medium - Fast - Two Pieces One Tip Rod

The fishing rod, acquired approximately one year ago, recently failed during standard operation. It is worth noting that an incorrect model was initially dispatched. I would consider repurchasing this product if its durability were enhanced. The company resolved this issue in an appropriate manner. I appreciate the help!

Just arrived so of course I havent used it yet. Very impressive packaging/box within a box. Beautiful fit and finish. fuji Guides look way more expensive than the price. First guide is a little smaller than I expected but we'll see how this works after FLA gets SNOW this weekend. (didn't i move here to escape this!) Rich G

Great rod. I love the grip and reel seat. The guides are nice too. The rod is really well made I only have one complaint. The action of the rod is not what’s stated. It says medium fast it fishes more like a medium heavy fast action. If you use it as a medium heavy fast rod you will like it. Just to stiff for a medium.

This is my second Kastking Perigee II rod. My first was a 7 foot M/MH dual-tio casting rod. After fighting a 22# king salmon with it last year and heaving as hard as I could without breaking my rod, I was impressed with the quality. I wanted a lightweight spinning outfit for casting lures for striped bass. I decided on the 7'6" medium action Perigee II so I could get a good fight and finesse the fish in with light tackle. Last night I got a run for my money and hooked into a 40 incher. It was only the second fish I had fought in the rod after catching a 28" fish earlier in the night. It handled that monster with no problem at all. The rod passed the test for me. I'd recommend to anyone looking for an excellent rod at a bargain price. It's not the price of the rod it's how you use it.

I purchased two of these 7'6 medium fast action and like them they are very good action but I prefer Crixus better because the action seems to be a little better.
