Hello, they are made in Morocco from an olive tree farm that is certified USDA organic. It is produced by Atlas Olive Oils that is a family farming business, renowned worldwide for its premium quality Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils. The Aqallal family has been planting and nurturing olive trees for 4 generations since 1887. It is one of the most important estates of Morocco: 1’200’000 olive trees covering an area of over 1000 Ha of arid land in the Moroccan desert. Can you use smaller pieces of these to burn loose incense and/or resin in a cast iron cauldron?

Breaking these briquettes into smaller pieces would definitely be quite messy and potentially wasteful. You’d probably be better off buying charcoal specifically designed for burning resin incense or maybe using auto-lighting hookah charcoal.

Wpuld this be safe to use in place of horticulture charcoal for planting purposes? (I would break up the briquettes for added soil drainage.)
