Review: Must have for bracelet makers. - The best paracord jig i have ever owned. Better than the wood jigs. Easy to adjust for bracelet length. Strong sturdy metal and locking screw. Rubber feet keep it in place while cinching down on weave. Good price. Matches the picture exactly. Review: Well made jig and simplifies the process - I stumbled upon paracord bracelets when looking for a YouTube tutorial on macramรฉ bracelets as a relaxing activity. (An attempt at learning how to knit was a disaster even after taking instruction. Way too stressful.) The videos showing the use of paracord were intriguing. A few packages of cords and some buckles were purchased at Michael's to try it out. The couple of initial attempts were encouraging but using a clipboard to hold the cords in place was rather clumsy. The jig solved that problem and made the process go smoother and faster. The four bracelets pictured (two in cobra and two in fishtail) were completed using the jig in less than 90 minutes. For making bracelets without a buckle, a binder clip can be used to hold the cord in place at the desired length. The jig sits firmly on the work surface, was so simple to put together, is well made of hard metal and the measurement markings are helpful. The printed instructions are okay, but I found that using a YouTube tutorial about the jig was very useful. The video made clear how to set up the jig using the male/female ends of a buckle into which the bracelet is fitted as you weave. The printed instructions didn't make that understandable at all; at least not to me. So far, I've used paracord 550 and a smaller nylon cord (as shown in the pictures) on the jig. The jig is really great when using a smaller nylon cord since the cord is held tightly and doesn't flop around as it did when I was using a clipboard. And the price is reasonable. It comes with some hanks of cord and several buckles of different colors. Now that I've started with the jig, I've also ordered several hundred feet of 550 in different colors and designs. Even thinking of taking a vendor table at the next local craft fair.

Nice Jig, Poor Cord
Once the jig arrived, everything was pulled out and all items checked out as being included. Pros: Received black rods instead of chrome. Personal preference on this one. Fairly quick setup time to change from monkey's fist to bracelet jig. Weight is substantial enough that it stays put while tugging. Cons: Clips are colored. Again preference here but plain black would have been better Cord colors are bizarre Cord is not nylon paracord, likely polyester or some other plastic for the core and outer sheath is questionable. Review: This will certainly get the job done, and does so with the best of both worlds possible. Having a monkey's fist and bracelet jig all in one means that there is no need to store two distinct jigs. I also like the fact that the jig has a good powder coated paint on it that will last, granted if someone were rough and dropped metal bits on the jig the paint will of course start to flake. The biggest let down is that the cord is not nylon. It is also in some oddball colors and schemes that make them useful only to learn new knots on and that is about it. Having colored clips is also a bad choice primarily because not one of the clips "goes" with any of the cords that was sent with the jig. I mean.. Pink, Purple and Peach goes well with green and black snake skin patterned cord? Not really. Minor complaint hence the single star reduction. If the cord was removed and the price dropped by even $5 it would be better than having cord that is not true 550 nylon cord and oddball clips that don't match the cord sent. Should you buy this? Absolutely, if you don't already have a bracelet or fist jig grab this and have both. If you already have one or the other jig... That is your decision. IF you like the look of this jig and concept, you won't be disappointed.

Love this jig! I'd recommend it if you want consistently knotted paracord products
I was hesitant to invest in a jig until I determined if paracord bracelets and pet collars will sell in my Etsy store and at local shows. But in order to make a good product to sell, I saw the value in a jig. Based on all 5-star rating, I bought this one. I AM NOT disappointed. It's super sturdy, will last forever, easy to use, and I like the larger size which can accommodate pet collars. The wing nut stays in place. The design to hold the bracelet is interesting... you will need an extra identical buckle to clip onto yours to loop into the jig. The sizing on the jig is handy. I know where to set it to get a consistent length bracelet. The only problem is that I can make bracelets really fast, and had to buy more paracord. It's a slippery slope, but I know I need a small investment to introduce a new quality product to my business. I'd definitely recommend spending the extra money and buy this jig. You won't ever have to buy another one, unless all your kids want one. Update - I found that to get a consistent size bracelet (with simple square knots), my bracelet length is about 1" larger than the wrist size. The thickness of the knots takes up the extra inch. On this jig with most smaller buckles, I set the length to exactly the length of the bracelet. For example, for a 7" wrist... I make my bracelet 8" long. I set the jig measurement to 8". Apparently the jig takes into consideration the extra length of buckles used to attach bracelet. I created a measuring device out of cardstock that rolls up and the bracelets fit around it. It has marks at the 1/2" spaces so I know what wrist size each bracelet fits. If it's exactly on the inch mark, I list my bracelets as a close fit. If it's just beyond it (because I tried a different knot), I list bracelet as a loose fit. For resale, I make it exactly on the inch mark and instruct customers to order up if they're in-between.

Great product with just a couple of small issues
Letโs start with the fact that this thing is built like a tank. Itโs a one time by that you will never need to replace. The rods for the monkey fest are also high-quality as well as the wingnut and bolt that hold the length adjuster in place. If youโre considering a cheaper model, donโt do it. The price is more than reasonable for what you are getting. Here are my couple of gripes: 1. The cord that is sent within the kit is very low quality. It would be good for learning on, but to be honest Iโm not even sure about that simply because the diameters are so much different than higher quality paracord. I guess the benefit is you donโt have to spend any additional money to determine if this is something you really want to do. 2. Instructions for the Monkey Fist assembly are less than helpful in my opinion. There really needs to be more in-depth explanation on this. The videos that are on the website are not accurate with the current product thatโs being sent. 3. The quality of the nuts, especially with regards to the ones used for tightening down the rods are just not up to par compared to everything else. They really should be made out of machine aluminum or just a metal of some sort. For people with decent size fingers, and above Tightening the rods completely down is going to be very difficult because of the lack of space and traction on the nuts

Turns Out Iโm a Paracord Picasso
The SpeedyJig XL Paracord Bracelet Kit turned me from a craft novice into a bracelet-making wizard. I went in thinking, โHow hard can it be to knot some paracord?โ and now Iโm practically running a side hustle selling custom bracelets to friends and neighbors. The Pros: Adjustable Frame: From tiny kid wrists to burly lumberjack hands, this jig handles it allโ4โ to 18โ of crafting versatility! Ease of Use: Itโs so simple even my cat almost figured it out. The step-by-step instructions are idiot-proof (trust me, I tested that theory). Addictive Fun: I planned to make one bracelet. Six hours later, I had crafted enough to outfit an entire scout troop. The Cons: Be warned: once you start, you wonโt stop. Your friends, family, and random strangers will now demand paracord bracelets for every occasion. It might spark arguments over who gets the coolest color combos. (Spoiler: itโs always me.) The Bottom Line: If you want to unlock your inner paracord genius while crafting bracelets that could probably survive an apocalypse, this kit is for you. Adjustable, fun, and surprisingly therapeuticโitโs the hobby I didnโt know I needed. Highly recommend! Just clear your schedule... youโll need it.

Great jig with helpful instructions
This jig is terrific for several reasons, not the least of which is the folder included with directions for making bracelets. I have a book that describes paracord projects, but the instructions are spotty and assume who know how to fashion certain knots already. This folder is very explicit and detailed, and gives tips that I found very useful. My first attempt making a bracelet using one of the lengths of included cord and supplied buckles was a resounding success--the very first one! The jig itself is very sturdy and well made. It is easy to adjust and the rubber feet give it great stability so it doesn't shift around while you're making a bracelet. The lengths of cord that come with it are a good length to make an 8" inch bracelet which works for me, but could have made one a couple of inches longer, too. The measurements on the jig are very clear and well described in the flyer so you know how to set it to end up with a bracelet in the size you want. The directions show making a single cord version of the bracelet which works well with the 3/8" buckles supplied (you see two strands of cord attached to the buckle ends), but once you know how to do it, stepping up to the double cord version (which has four strands showing on the buckle) using a bigger buckle should be quite doable. Neither the cord supplied, nor the little buckles are top quality, but fine for initial use and practice, plus fun colors. I'll keep one length to use as a measure for my next bracelet which I'll make from the top quality cord I bought separately. I'm extremely pleased with this jig and recommend it for those who are just starting out, and may want to make a number of bracelets for family and friends, or to sell.

AMAZING
This jig is perfect. It arrived before expected and was super simple to setup. The instructions they provide have a super simple setup and includes pictures. I have already made about 5 monkeys fists with this jig. It has feet that hold it in place while using it and the weight of this jig is perfect not too heavy and not too lite. The build quality is incredible they figured out how to make it easy to use and the length of the rails is perfect. The rails are made to be adjustable while free or with a bearing or whatever your using is in place. More importantly then anything else the customer service this company provides is nothing short of amazing. I sent an email asking a question and within minutes I had a reply. I may have sent the email at just the right time, but as fast as I had an answer reaching the owner is super simple and super fast. I will 100% be using this company for any of my parachord and jig needs. Thank you for being an amazing and pleasurable company to work with. It really does make a big difference when you have a company standing behind their product.

Jiggly Hobby
Really pleased with the quality of workmanship of materials on this product though my only issue was no spanner enclosed and i assumed the holder pins were meant to be Crome coated but were black.
