Bought this to store frozen dog food in and the only place to put it was in our hall. Not wanting it to look like a freezer, we got it in black. It’s very quiet, easy to clean and has a sliding basket. Good capacity yet compact. I shopped around and this was a very very good price, I’m very pleased with it and would highly recommend.

When it comes to kitchen appliances, my go to is always russell hob, the quality it top notch and it is energy efficiency. You will not even hear a thing, it is peace and quite.

I bought this freezer to replace a larger larder freezer that was failing. Delivery went smoothly, and I have had it running for several weeks and find it a convenient size for two people, and easy to use. The area under the basket is good for fragile items, and the basket is good for things I need every day, and keeping freezer blocks in. I do find it a little on the loud side, as reviewers have reported. I do like the choice of black or white, and my black freezer looks very smart. The cabinet was easy to move empty, so easy in fact that until it was full I had to get used to how light the lid is and how easy to lift. The only problem was the power cable. You need to pull off a small plastic cover inset on the large one on the freezer back, the install video shows it popping off easily with finger pressure. Ours was so tight the whole freezer back was bending a worrying amount and the clips were starting to break just pulling it with my fingernail. I finally removed it with a spudger (case opening tool) but a flat blade screwdriver would work. Start at the right side, push it between the back and inset plastic along the top edge and twist till the clip pops, work along till they're all free then you should be able to pull the panel off easily. If not repeat for the bottom edge. The install video was sent by customer support at Russell Hobbs, who were prompt and helpful. I had read reviews mentioning other cases where the power cable had been badly positioned , but the panel was the real difficulty.

Excellent all round. Very good price. It’s very very quiet. No annoying humming noise that you usually can get. Holds a lot of food. Exceptional quality, with a five year guarantee. Can’t ask for more. I’m very pleased. I would highly recommend this freezer. 😊

The 142L capacity of this chest freezer is perfect for my needs. It provides ample space to store frozen goods for my small family without taking up too much floor space. he freezer operates quietly, which is a plus for me. It doesn't disturb the peace at home, and I barely notice it running in the background.

We needed a freezer. Did a quick of alternatives and the Russell Hobbs looked best as did Amazon. Good service although the schedule was changed to bring forward a day. Freezer works brilliantly. Hope the 5 year warranty is never needed but is a comfort anyway.

I bought this for my shed as I needed a unit which would remain on during the cold weather and, so far, it has. There is not much to tell about it as it is much as customers might expect, a big white box (see product dimensions) with a silver metal interior. It has a small suspended shelf which, to be honest, is rather too small to be useful for much and there is an internal 'shelf' which actually just covers the workings of the freezer as is the case with most if not all freezers. I chose it as the advert promised me it would be delivered to the room of my choice. In reality the guy left it on the doorstep, waited in his van and drove off. That meant a disabled person had to go through a lot of pain to get it indoors and wait the rest of the day for help to move it the right room so, don't buy it for that reason. The lid opens nice and wide and doesn't feel like it is going to drop on me whilst using it and empty, it's really not so heavy I suppose because there isn't much to a freezer! Heavy enough to hurt me but not heavy. Certainly the best one I could recommend in the size range
