Ergodyne ProFlex 1650 Back Support Belt, 7.5" Elastic, Adjustable, Removeable Straps, XL

This is a great back brace and won’t break the budget. I recently aggravated my SI joint after several days of above-average activity, but couldn’t find my old brace. The pain was close to excruciating, and I know from past flare-ups that I need to bind things up to prevent it from getting worse. This brace did that, keeping the affected are less mobile, didn’t cinch up and was relatively comfortable. The price is good and after wearing it for about 10 days, relief was very notable (just tender, down from not being able to sit for any length of time). It looks to be well made, so as much as I don’t want to have to wear it again, it’ll be ready if I do.

Was exactly what I needed. A basic back brace for inexpensive that I can use when moving stuff around, or just feel like a little support for yard work, since my back sometimes feels like going out if I push it too hard. The shoulder straps velcro on, so they're easy to take off if you don't want them. The very back has a few reinforcing (probably plastic) bars built in, about 4 inches high and the width of an average little finger. Don't do a ton, but they don't hurt, either. Help it from rolling up in the back, at least. Also, I like that you have the main wrap and then the supporting elastic wrap over that (you can sort of see them in the picture. They're what looks like the two thick tabs on either side.) I wear a 36 pant, and probably should have gone with large over xl, but eh. All in all, I wouldn't get it for serious back problems, but for what I needed it for, it's fine and dandy.

Best thing ever for a bulged disc in lower back. Highly recommend, I use it daily.

Best back support I have found yet. I was surprised how well it was made, built to last, the only thing I could ever see failing on this is the elastic....and thats only if I stretch it out a thousand more times. I have been wearing back supports for years and Im so glad I bought this one as its so much better and more comfortable than the ones I was using prior.....and it wasnt that much more expensive either. I love the flexibility with this.....as I can attach the suspenders wherever I like and with the adjustable elastic, I can get as little or as much support as I want. The sizing can definitely be a bit tricky....I wear a size 42 pants and the Beer Gods have blessed me with a bit of a belly....and the XL fits great. However if I was any smaller, I might run out of velcro if I was pulling the elastic really tight.

EVERYTHING else about this item is awesome! I hope this is a glitch. (one of the braces "bones" came UNstitched) I tried a similar item and was VERY disappointed, so i am reordering this one because it was comfortable. The suspenders worked great. The fabric is breathable. fingers crossed the replacement holds up longer than a week. Nope!!! Second purchase made on the 17th. It’s now the 23rd and the rib has already come out of the stitching. The plastic piece need to be filed before you sew it in. The rough edge is breaking the material.
