It's attached with thread in 3 easy to remove spots (if you so desire). I may do this if I can reuse hat using Velcro to secure. That way we can use him for other looks. I can create a yarn "wig". Yes, the clothes are removable, I checked. The shirt is attached to the overalls just at the shoulders. You can take off shirt and overalls and have a basic puppet to change into different looks.
