The description says high density and firm. This is a true statement. It is painfully hard. The size and shape are just right, but it is too uncomfortable for my physical therapy exercises.

Very happy with this. Had a less firm roller before for several years; it became a bit 'squashed'. This one is much better - nice and firm, and doesn't feel like it will ever get compressed or wear out. Been using it for a number months now - all good.
